For the record that Blabbermouth article is from July of last year. Hopefully it’s for Desmonds album and not Alice’s.
I think Child just posted new photos of Alice at his house saying he and Ezrin had been there last week for writing session.

Aha! That'll explain why I didn't see it mentioned in the 'Latest News' section! Should have known that nothing gets missed by you!
I wouldn't go that far, but yes, I covered it when it first aired :)

Re: Funding Circle advert

This is an old advert they have started to run again recently. It first went out in January 2020.
The version I'm most often seeing on TV at the moment is a shorter version then the one you link to.

Lately, Alice said "I woke up this morning, I got myself beer"(Roadhouse Blues-The Doors) were his words,
Jim Morrison used Alice's words...
He's been telling that story for a VERY long time.

Re: Elected mix

Doesn't the single mix have the vocals centered? I thought that was what we heard on Greatest Hits. Also, on Life & Crimes - was that mixed mono? (I think that the School's Out single was mixed in mono.) Just Wondr'ring Aloud. Off the top of my head, yes, there are certainly different mixes. I reme...

Re: Michael Bruce's solo album in 1975

Apologies if this has been answered already. I've often wondered how the contract negotiations materialised between the ACG, AC solo and Warner? Did Alice effectively continue the existing deal that the band had with Warner or was it a new deal altogether? I remember reading somewhere that the band...

The only thing I would add is that is has to be a hard pill to swallow for Michael, knowing it was his ego and his idea for a solo album that brought it all crashing down, including his career.
Honestly, I doubt he sees it that way.

Re: Michael Bruce's solo album in 1975

Why did he make a solo album in 1975, but then hardly did any music afterwards? He was the strongest writer in the band after Alice. With respect to all concerned.. "the strongest writer AFTER Alice?" While I'm sure Alice had input into everything, as they all did, he was NOT writing the vast major...

Not sure why pics aren't allowed her but there is an easy to find pic of them with Alice tied to a giant cactus out there. This would be 83 I think. Very easy https://www.sickthingsuk.co.uk/09-people/p-gentlemenafterdark.php And pics are allowed here within reason. In the past they haven't been bec...

Re: I Love America

Responding to Si, Dada, was used during the raise the dead tour wasn’t it? During the descent into the graveyard of the Hollywood vampires, basically just the word dada from the record, closest to any live rendition I guess we will get. Yes it was, well remembered. It was added in later in the tour...

Re: I Love America

Sadly It's just too obscure. We will never see anything from Zipper or Da Da live. While I don't completly disagree, remember not so long ago how we thought we would never hear anything from Special Forces, Flush The Fashion, or Constrictor again? We were proven wrong. Never say never. It just need...

Re: I Love America

I think it would be great if Alice had the pre-recorded version of Dada play prior to him taking the stage Didn't he kinda half did that, with the use of the "da da" sample featuring during one of the recent intro tapes. Would have to work out which tour it was (and I'm too tired to do it right now...

Re: Greatest Hits

The prince of darkness compilation would seem to be a legit release from his MCA years, with a then unreleased live billion dollar babies. It's legit in as much as it's not a bootleg, but I *think* what rgallie is looking for is albums that would have been included as part of a record deal, not comp...

Re: Greatest Hits

Is this the only official compilation released as part of any record deal? In my CD collecting days I always assumed Classicks was also the one Sony compilation that wasn't a bit of a knock off. Working my way through buying all the official release vinyl and Greatest Hits seems to be the only one ...

Re: Being An Alice Cooper Fan in the Early 70s

After the show, the principal called me into his office. To get on the assembly agenda I told him I was going to do a magic show with music. He told me to sit down. This reminds me of a show I did as part of a pick up band at school. We also did the assembly, AND said we were going to do something ...

I also see no problem with hiding the band for WTMN or any shows after that, as people are paying to see Alice rather than the band. Hiding the band in any shows before WTMN is wrong though, as that would be like paying to see Black Sabbath and only seeing Ozzy.
Good point.

Re: Good to see you again,AC

I had never heard of any film crew that requested less light. I found it interesting that, for most of their show, the WTMN band was kept in the shadows as well. Likely to clarify Alice as a solo entity, and perhaps to keep the audience from realizing it wasn't the Alice Cooper group. I always look...
