Re: ALICE WRITING WITH DESMOND CHILD AGAIN.

For the record that Blabbermouth article is from July of last year. Hopefully it’s for Desmonds album and not Alice’s.

Not bothered either way about working with Desmond Child but I want the promised album with the touring band first.
Amen to that. I would hope that idea didn’t get shelved a couple of months after he said it.

Re: Pure Glen Buxton

Glen seems to be our Syd Barret or Peter Green. A enormous talent but became increasingly erratic or absent for whatever reasons. Not only MIA on the BBB album, but don’t forget that tour had a third guitarist and I don’t think he was exactly center stage.

Re: Touring band to feature on next album!

I hope they get a chance to write and record a new album with Alice. They are a very tight and talented group. I’m tired of the revolving door of musicians and writers on so many of Alice’s solo work. The possibility that the next release will be different is exciting because it was very obvious fro...

Now that’s a worthy Alice Cooper tune. More of this and less covers.

Can’t add much more than already said. Still IMO that version of 18 is outstanding. Blistering leads.

Hated it on first listen - 4 or 5 listens later I've grown to like it - very catchy had the lyrics in my head all day

Opposite for me. More I hear it the more I wonder why this didn’t go on a Vampires album.

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'

It will be interesting to see the line up on this one. Certainly nothing for Nita to do on it. This has bothered me for a long time. Alice has one of the best rock bands out there and he just ignores them when it comes to new material. IMO they could put a stamp all their own on these covers and ma...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'

Ugh, think this is gonna be the first Alice album in nearly 50 years I ain’t gonna bother buying I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I agree. These covers are getting out of hand. If he wants to do that with the Vampires that’s fine but caring it over to his work is lame since he really isn’t...

Think it would be better suited for a Vampires release. I want original songs from a Alice release.

Re: Old School Uncool

Neal’s release is embarrassing bad. Dennis and Suzy’s collaboration was way off. I expected better. Michael’s is another miss. Although Alice has sometimes missed the mark on his solo stuff compared to the original group, he’s remained relevant in rock music. He has surrounded himself with exception...

Caught in a Dream, My Stars and Long Way to Go are some of the best stuff Alice has ever done. Crying shame that stuff doesn’t get the reaction it should.

Musically I prefer Orianthi’s playing. More of a 70’s based sound. Shredding I’m not into.

Re: Rise - First reviews

A very good album. So much better than the first one. They sound like a band not just a bunch of guest musicians. The first one sounded shrill and harsh. With Tommy producing it’s a much more natural overall tone. Hope Alice remembers this the next time for his stuff.

I know it’s just one song but I like the sound of this production much better than the previous HV release. Talk about a compressed and shrill sound on that first one.

Yup. Really like it. Straight up rocker with a modern edge but not chasing any current or popular trend. You can tell these guys been around and have some attitude.
