Re: Detroit Stories Review

I wish Drunk and In Love didn't fade out. I mean, if we're going to do a blues pastiche, then end it like one. C'mon, give us an interesting blues turn around to end on. The fade out just seems a tad bit like, "Eh, we're too lazy to finish it and gotta send it off to mastering. Just fade out." EDIT:...

Re: Detroit Stories Review

Like the actual Detriot today, Alice has become a former shell that can only live off his past. I'm going to be completely honest. This IS Alice Cooper now. And this IS the new Alice Cooper album. It's only one step above Paranormal..but what does that matter? Alice is constantly aiming for 1971 bu...

Re: Detroit Stories Review

Why does Alice Cooper need a credits list that could scroll up the screen like a film because it is so long?

Re: Social Debris

With respect to Nita, whose playing I don't like, there is a lot that can go wrong on those live events where it is just one song. No time to warm up plus the pressure. Once, sure, but both times were just horrid. One time, she plays as if the band, whom I believe is the bulk of Halestorm, were kin...

Re: Social Debris

It is rather amazing to me that people want Rick Rubin to produce the next Alice record. My first response is, "Why?" The reason for asking is because it is very well known the guy barely even shows up to sessions, just listens to what his assistant and crew have done, gives his opinions, then bounc...

Re: Overdue a biopic?

Maybe because Alice doesnt seem to like much/any information of his drugged up days (i can only guess because it would conflict with the image of the perfect family man he likes to push) aside from that potential area he appears quite dull as a person who watches tv allot. (not exactly riveting for...

It would be like a bio-pic of Keith Moon - so far-fetched most people wouldn't believe it!
In my opinion, the best way, perhaps, to present an Alice Cooper bio pic or facsimile thereof, would be to have Alice as a sort of Cryptkeeper, and present it as an anthology horror film.

Re: Alice Cooper "Easter Eggs"... new songs referencing old songs

An obvious one is Brutal Planet's "Gimme," which has the line, "I really hate to repeat myself, but Nothing's Free." On Zipper Catches Skin , "Remarkably Insincere" calls back to "I Like Girls" with, "My dearest darling/You know that luggage?/It belonged to that blonde with the really nice pair." T...
