I just don't understand why everyone is banging on about the colour so much. It was clearly done as an artistic choice. I happen to like it, gives the performance a cinematic edge.

Re: A Paranormal Evening At The Olympia Paris DVD / Blu-Ray release

Re the colour i said this when the first clips of it came out.. its super contrasty and some really weird colour cast as well. Looking at camera phone footage of the show and finding the same spot on the blu ray.. there was so much more light and colour on the phone footage (obviously not as sharp e...

Re: Touring band to feature on next album!

Plus, i'm of the opinion that Eyes was the last great album from Alice and that was very much a touring band album. Again, i am of the same opinion and really love the fact that on the Eyes album, the music doesnt sound like its had the equivalent (in the photo world) of way too much skin smoothing ...

The Eyes of AC and Dirty Diamonds are certainly good reasons to give the touring band a shot at making a studio album

I'm unsure of the writing dynamics of the current band though...

100% Agree.

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'

No one has mentioned the pun inherent in the cover art: the album is called "Detroit STORIES" and we're looking up at a group of Detroit's multi-story buildings.

Re: Detroit Stories first song "Rock 'N' Roll" to be available Fri 11-13-20

The vocals were really impressive, at least for a man 72 years old. But the song is just bland and pointless. No power, no groove no nothing. Sounds like everyone involved just wanted to be anywhere but in the studio. A bit like "Let's get this over with so we can go back to playing cards". This is...

Re: Detroit Stories first song "Rock 'N' Roll" to be available Fri 11-13-20

I love what Ezrin did with and for Alice back in the day, but Alice needs to work with a different producer. I understand "Alice is doing what he wants" and "we are lucky Alice is still making music" etc... But as a fan knowing he's not gonna be around forever isn't it OK for us to want the best fr...

Re: New album cover

I'll bet that Alice and company are enjoying this conversation. I love it when people bash my work. (This comment is not pointed at anyone - just picking up a lot of negativity amongst the fans.) I am into this. The first song hits me great. Can't wait. Yip have to agree. I really like the first so...

Everyone moaning about different coloured vinyls, I urge to check out Rob Zombie's various different ones (all on his website)
Thing is - at least it looks like Rob Zombie is still trying.. and puts a lot of effort into covers etc.

Re: New album cover

To me, it all sounds bland, flat, murky and pretty much over processed.. So much like the last few albums.. disapointed for sure... Liked the Breadcrumbs ep as some of them songs came with some punch agian.. but this new one is just so "Meh" Drums sound like a practive kit with only on Mic to record...
