Re: Favourite opening line

“I got a job in Atlanta in the mall playing Santa not because of any talent but because I was the only one the suit would fit” Well if it’s not that it’s “I love that mountain with those four big heads” This is the correct answer. An honourable mention would be "I couldn't tell if the bells are get...

Re: I'm Alice

I think this is the best AC song since, probably Hey Stoopid. I was very surprised. I dislike the lyrics but that might be a matter of taste. Really looking forward to the full album now, and that the first time that happened since Dragontown. And the return of the You're a Movie-character is amazing.

Re: Alice Cooper Setlist/New Tour Comment

They posted some new live shots on his facebook page and quoted Luney Tune. Which hasn't been played since 1972 I believe. Stop teasing ffs! I'm dead certain that a Deep Cuts tour would be successful. It doesn't have to be 60 shows, make it 20 and play select venues in select cities. He could even ...

Pushing the envelope

Hi Dennis, Thank you very much for doing this, I've had a great time reading through your answers. Everyone's aware that ACG pushed the limits with the stage show and so on, but I can feel at times that you did the same thing musically. For instance there's a pretty heavy part in Halo Of Flies (I cr...

Re: Album opinion change

I didn't get Goes To Hell at all the first time I heard it. Didn't get the concept and I just felt it was a bunch of boring musical theater songs. Today it's probably one of my favorite AC albums. The opposite goes for Constrictor and RYFAY which I loved as a kid. I rarely listen to them today and w...

Re: Detroit Stories first song "Rock 'N' Roll" to be available Fri 11-13-20

The vocals were really impressive, at least for a man 72 years old. But the song is just bland and pointless. No power, no groove no nothing. Sounds like everyone involved just wanted to be anywhere but in the studio. A bit like "Let's get this over with so we can go back to playing cards".

Re: Alice Songs You Like More Than Most Other Fans Do

So many top tier songs mentioned already. Little By Little, Former Lee Warmer, Going Home, Wake Me Gently etc.

Guessing the songs I like more than most other fans is Die For You. Easily one of my all times favorite songs. Every aspect down to the arrangement of the backing vocals is pure genius.

Don't remember this one at all. Colour looks a little basic so would suggest fake.
I think so too. It doesn't look like any of the usual official shirts from the same tour.

Trashes Europe bootleg shirt?

I got some shirts from my uncle about 20-25 years ago. This one he bought at the 89 show in Gothenburg. I've never seen this one online and there's no copyright text anywhere on the shirt so I'm suspecting it's a bootleg. Pics of front and back can be found here: https://imgur.com/a/aLq9hrg Anyone r...

Re: Is anyone home ?

I remember fearing that every song on Brutal Planet would sound like Is anyone home when I first put BP on. I was in a metal phase and couldn't stand IAH. Luckily my fears were unfounded.

Re: SPECIAL FORCES

And I'm almost willing to bet that Vicious Rumours is a left over track from Flush The Fashion. If you check the writing credits it would seem unlikely. It's a Mike Pinera song, who wasn't onboard for FTF. :) Haha, good thing I added that I was almost willing to bet. Still, it really sounds like a ...

Re: SPECIAL FORCES

The entire album feels a bit like a fever nightmare. Twisted and bizarre. You can hear just how unhealthy people involved were. Personally I've always loved Seven & Seven is. Great cover. Look Good In Rags and You're a Movie are fun tracks but not much more than that. And I'm almost willing to bet t...
