Re: 1981 Special Forces Gig - Colourised

Thank you Rhapsody, looking forward to it. Hoping with all the time everybody has had off , they have come up with a brand new show…but expecting it to be similar to the last tour. Since they poured a ton of money into the last tour's stage and then barely got to use it (approximately three months)...

Re: 1981 Special Forces Gig - Colourised

You are lucky to have seen Kiss in "76". You were not impressed, but you remember when and where you saw the show? Got hundreds of ticket stubs in frames 😉 . They were ok for a , then 18 year old to see . Tour was based on the “Alive” album…..but let’s be honest, they have no “Ballad Of Dwight Frye...

Re: 1981 Special Forces Gig - Colourised

Are you aware that Alice will tour with Ace? Yeah, got tickets for Tampa in a couple of months. Saw the original Kiss in “76” at The Hammersmith Odeon….not that impressed I’m afraid. Re: DDP

Cheers, I will lookout for his upcoming album. Off the DDP subject, I was one of the thousand Brits who never had the chance to see the original band , thanks to the ban on you guys from an uptight English politician. I think it was a certain Leo Abse who’s name I seem to remember who thought he kne...

Re: DDP

Loved Ian Hunters “Shrunken Heads” album too, around the same time as the “Bones From The Yard” if I remember right. Such a shame that DDP album didn’t take off big time, no fillers on that album at all…. and that’s some story about that club, you must’ve been fuming. Thank you for taking the time t...

DDP

I think your album “Bones From The Yard” is the best album of anything ACG or Alice Cooper related in the past 15 years. Are there any plans of another DDP in the works ? I seriously never get tired of playing this album, a true mark of a great consistent album in my mind.

Re: LYRICS

I really think most of the songs on this album could be used in Tarantino movies.
On my turntable constantly lately, great album

Re: The Alice Cooper Show 1977

Can remember bein’ gutted when I got this release. All the big boys were putting out double live albums when this was released. Wasn’t impressed at all at the time but played it a couple weeks back and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I find it hard to split TLT , Brutal Planet and WTMN in the solo years. Top 3 imo without doubt.

“82”

Pretty sure Big Country were the support band when I saw the concert at the Birmingham Odeon on that “82” tour, for the life of me I can’t remember who the support band at the Hammersmith Odeon was and I went to all 3 of them ? Sure a lot of you were there. Can only think we must’ve stayed in the bo...

cooperrocks.....gotta disagree with the last couple of lines there, imo “When Hell Comes Home” is a masterpiece, my fave track in decades.....but do agree, the new single does sound like a Partridge Family track.
