Re: A VERY Real Nightmare: Alice covers "Born This Way"!
I like pop, so I don't see any problem with this. True, that I like pop, and it's not that I have a problem with this.... but a rocker doing a pop song...mmmm.... Did you ever saw that clip of Iggy Pop singing ''Ray of light'' at the induction of Madonna at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Poor Iggy...

Re: Who do you believe?
I believe the facts. The group was fantastic, but after a while, they had to move on, for personal, artistic, whatever reasons... Alice went solo, with the name Alice Cooper, because it was his name, legally, and was successful. The other guys became the group ''Billion Dollar Babies'', and unfortun...

Re: A sLICE of COOPER
Cheers for that! Out of curiosity Greenie, we're aware and have seen Gallus Cooper but after many months of searching are not aware of any in England? I'm not sure I understand your question. I live in Canada. There are some Alice Cooper's tribute bands in here too. As for me, I prefer the original...

The Order of De Molay
I've read that Alice, when he was younger, was a member of the Order of De Molay. Does anybody knows what this order is or was? Sounds like a satanist sect.

Re: Who do you believe?
It's a bit like when me and the wife got divorced. We both have entirely different versions of what happened but from both our point of views we will both always be right. In ALL arguments, there will always three truths: 1 - Their truth 2 - Your truth 3 - The middle ground, and ACTUAL truth 4 - TR...

Re: Favorite Album Opener, Least Favorite Album Opener
In my opinion, there's no absolute best or worst, your favorite could be my least and your least could be my favorite, whatever your choice is, but one that I absolutely hate, that I can't stand, is ''Hey Stoopid'', opening or closing.

Not sure how 'real' Nurse Rozetta, Millie & Billy were, for example.

Being an old geezer, I remember buying records and wanting all the info I could get-felt cheated if the record came in a paper or (God forbid) a PLASTIC sleeve with nothing else. Excellent album. I like the fact that each of the characters in the songs were based on actual people Alice met in the sanitarium.
Powerful ballad for Cheryl, must have been a hard time for them, that alcoholism period.

Re: How many times have you seen the Master?
:alice: Only 3 times for me....but he is always with me. That's great, Daytripper. The best fans are not necessarily those who went to see him, like a hundred times, in my opinion. So what is your idea of a "good fan"? I agree that attending loads of shows doesn't automatically make you a "g...

Don't get me wrong... It's been more than two years, that I listen to Alice's radio show, so into that show... that... never mind...Greenie wrote:I don't know... I will have to listen again.
I didn't listen to any Alice's albums for quite a while. All I listen to, is the radio show. I miss the songs.

I have Golf Monster and a TLT Comic, and ebooks of Me Alice and the Dick Wagner. Would love to read No More Mr Nice Guy, but can't afford the silly money - I don't suppose anybody would like to lend it to me? Lol :) :) Promise I would send it back :) You mean this book?
