Re: Australian bushfire concert

The poster being done in alphabetical order did him a huge favor. Gotta love it!

Re: Have you changed your mind?

MOL really should have been MB's first solo album. My two cents' worth. Although I consider MOL to be far superior to Michael Bruce's solo album (In My Own Way), I believe the ACG's last studio album stands much better as a Group album than as a potential solo release. The songs on MOL while a depa...

Re: Have you changed your mind?

re;MOL really should have been MB's first solo album. My two cents' worth. Padre, I like MOL a lot and I liked the Halo of Ice by MB, but I happen to find " In my own way" not that strong.. Do you mean that MOL is basically MB's work ? Yes. It's very much MB, to my ears, anyway. Alice was busy with...

Re: Have you changed your mind?

Muscle of Love is possibly the album which has changed least for me. Probably played it a dozen times as soon as I got it when it came out but while I loved half the tracks I just couldn't love the album. I've tried several times over the years and while some tracks come and go for me the overall f...

Re: Have you changed your mind?

Pretties For You has changed a few times for me.First got a copy through the School Days double and just couldn't even start to understand it. Changed my mind around the time of Da Da as that album pushed me hard as a fan and I went backwards to the oldest albums for comfort. Lost and regained it a...

Re: Have you changed your mind?

I pretty much feel the same about each album now as I did way back when. There may have been a little adjusting one way or the other over the years, but nothing huge. Overall, the whole of the Cooper experience has taken a far back seat in my life just because that's part of aging.

I didn't know that. I'm a big fan of Pee Wee. We went to see the live show in LA and it was just great. Pee Wees Christmas Play house is a staple here and Pee Wees Big Adventure is my favorite movie of all time. "Go on and scream your head off. We're miles from where anyone can hear you."

Alice seems to have really reconnected with DD.
He and the incredibly creative Dennis are the two surviving original members (if you count from the very earliest incarnation of the group), so, it only stands to reason. My apologies to John Speer, should he still be among the living.

Re: MURAT THEATRE - INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA SHOW

The B$B show was that length. From the inside was 70 minutes. Id rather go home wanting more than wish it would end. FTI averaged around 85 minutes. Don't forget the video is cut and missing a couple of songs. I was at the FTI show. They didnt play WTMN at that particular gig, but Dead Babies was p...

1 hour and 20 minutes doesn't seem like a long time.

Delighted you enjoyed it Padre. Said it before, this is a purple patch and we should enjoy every minute while it lasts.
You bet, Del. It's a good time to be a fan. Hope he goes on until he's 100.

MURAT THEATRE - INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA SHOW

I've seen Coop several times since 1978. Last night's concert spectacle may never be topped, and if it is, only Alice will be able to accomplish such a feat. The setlist, the lighting, staging, musicianship, band, performance...you name it...everything was above and beyond anything I could have imag...

Re: Desmond Child with Alice

I have a 25 year old lesbian daughter who calls me every other day with a new batch of gay jokes. Mrs. Padre has collected black jokes most of her life. She laughs till she cries. She's also black and as kind a lady as you're likely to meet. I have a 26 year old son (same age as Mrs. Padre) who's a ...

I will be visiting my 18 year old daughter in Indiana for the Thanksgiving weekend. That said, she bought a ticket for me to the Indianapolis show, as she never misses Coop when he comes around. I've got great kids.
