Re: UK Ticket Sales
Nah. Every year I have brough pre-sale tickets and ended up in a rubbish position 15 rowsback at the side with a view restricted by some something like a monitor or amp. This year I waited until after I failed at the Oasis fiasco and got 4 tix dead on centre 7th row for face value. I know what I wi...

Re: UK Tour Build-Up
who's support, i must be going daft cos i can't see anything listed? only thing i got from the venue was saying doors at 18:00 and show from 19:00 which sounds like at least 2 supports yet again.
tch, soon as i post that - primal scream, is that still correct? only one support?

maybe there'd be an element of denial so any release would be huge surprise.

probably be a lot more sell-outs if ticketbastard got kicked out and ticket prices/releases went back to being sensible.

Re: Alice UK presale 10am tomorrow
all these rumours about TM supposedly being investigated were obviously wrong, or they've dumped cash into someone's back pockets. how a company can be allowed to instigate "dynamic pricing" is disgusting. I thought there were rules about selling for the quoted price on a product, what would happen ...

Re: Alice UK presale 10am tomorrow
This is another thing that really bugs me. Buy a ticket for any theatre performance or any cinema (that has allocated seating) and you get to pick your seat. It's a scandal that they hardly ever offer that service for gigs. The technology is there and they choose not to use it. when i looked at hyd...

Re: Alice UK presale 10am tomorrow
That would be it, thanks Si. I think their presale is finished but I’m ready to see what’s available tomorrow. I would advise everyone to sign up to all the obvious UK venues you would go to (ie anywhere that hosts average to large concerts) in advance. This probably goes for US etc as well. Anywhe...

Re: Alice UK presale 10am tomorrow
Manch and Glasgow again for me. had two lots of presale for Glasgow, was some good seats right up from but they wanted double price for them. stuff that. i'm happy where i'm at. these 4 or 5 date tours are really disappointing though, Newcastle was always touted as a really good venue especially for...

Re: Starring Alice Cooper - pictorial autobiography
a book that size will be pretty hefty and the weight will hoof the prices up. customs will be rubbing their hands in glee when they get it too, i'd bet you could add another 3 figures easily for the duty/handling on a $700 item

do these guys deliberately have stupid marketing? no mention i can see of what the "treasures" are, so people are just expected to pay and hope?

Re: Starring Alice Cooper - pictorial autobiography
Looks like a cracker of a book but at those prices, there's no way. Their pricing policy seems out of skew, for eg the WASP book is only signed by Chris Holmes - i love Chris, but if i wanted a book like that i'd want the other sigs too. The price could be argued as justified if Ross and all possibl...

just Manch and Glasgow, not too far[ish] but usually ends up a 4.5 ~ 5 hour trip depending on traffic. did them on consecutive days one tour, that was fun.

Alice has been in a band since 1965. He's toured through Beatlemania, Elvis' comeback, the flower generation, Led Zeppelin, Kiss-mania, disco, punk, the NWOBHM, new wave, grunge and up to the present where rock is 99% dead. He has seen rock n roll from its birth to its death. He's hung out with Fra...

Re: Tampa …Freaks Tour
Really hoping this co-headline cac is done by the time he returns next year. sick of paying for a ticket and getting a cut-down run time so another band i don't want to see gets to play. I used to begrudge having to sit through support acts, then it suddenly became two support acts, and now in some ...
