Re: Muscle of love expanded

Close! There are plenty of good nuggets in the booklet, but that's not the one I meant. I respect your ability to keep secrets! (Feel free to PM me if you like) Is there some reason we're now keeping secrets on an Alice Cooper forum where we discuss Alice Cooper? Certainly, not everyone is going to...

Re: New Netflix Documentary, March 2025

I almost fell for it, but then it didn't make sense the link was a site that at first glance looked like a CBS sports site.

Then I came to the news page here and nothing to be mentioned and then the forum to see this thread.

Answering myself here, but apparently it was created in 1973 as a guitar/vocal mix/demo and has simply been cleaned up in 2024. So it IS genuine.
That's good! I don't agree with the "less is more" comment though. The original is a great song through and through.

Re: Muscle of love expanded

This sounds like some new concoction they just decided to create from the original tapes. I'm not really a fan of this type of stuff, to be honest. I'm not against "remixes", especially if they improve upon sound quality, but I do feel they should retain the spirit of the original release. Did the b...

For those prices, it better be a pair of underpants
Would you like Alice to send them right after he takes them off, or wash them first?

Re: Alice Cooper Setlist/New Tour Comment

While there are Teleprompters on stage, if you watch videos Alice barely ever looks at them. It's one of those things that if you CAN do it why not. You never know when a singer will get brain freeze for any number of reasons and it can happen to anyone. There are definitely certain songs where he ...

Wow I'm speechless with that non cutting edge reply, it seems mediocrity is your specialty, I don't need to look "really smart" with people like you on the forums, it just goes without saying...you're really reaching here..it's like a cry for help...do you have a "friend" you can contact? maybe coo...

Re: Alice Cooper Setlist/New Tour Comment

As far as knowing the songs better than Alice, it is very common for fans to know an artist’s material better than they do. Fans obsess over it and consume the content over and over again. I highly doubt Alice listens to his albums on repeat. I’m willing to bet every rarity that is added to the set...

He's never done this before. :eye roll: Great observation :bam: , obviously no one was saying he hasn't. That was just a review from ...

I don't know why he stills has to mash Schools Out and Another Brick In The Wall.
Because he enjoys it? Because the crowd loves it? Because the crowd loves to sing along with it, and he enjoys that? Probably all of those.
It's perfect and everyone loves it except this one complainer.

Re: Alice Cooper Setlist/New Tour Comment

Given the setlist from lastnight, I think we have taken a step backward from the past few years. Has ANYBODY ever seen a crowd get excited for Lost in America? I love LOST IN AMERICA actually. Considering I'm seeing the show tonight, I was purposely avoiding the setlist spoiler thread only to have ...

Re: Alice Cooper Setlist/New Tour Comment

I really admire a band like Iron Maiden who will play the hits on some tours but they will also have tours where they come out and will tell you they are going to play new stuff and if you don't like it stay home. I love Maiden, but am nowhere near a diehard Maiden fan, and I have no interest in th...

Re: Alice Cooper Setlist/New Tour Comment

You might as well come to grips that Alice is going to play the hits. However, he always includes some rarities in the set so I'd be surprised pretty surprised if there wasn't a surprise or two in the new show. At least three shows have been listed as sold out already on this tour which is something...

Re: School's Out (Expanded And Remastered Edition) 2CD set

Good Records seems to be offering versions of the vinyl versions that include a numbered 12"x12" print & a button that are limited to only 150.

Not sure if this is something they're adding in or something offical, but still cool if that's your thing.

Re: Brutal Planet live remastered video

I'm pretty certain this is just upscaled to 1080p, which is not "remastered to Full HD." I really doubt the show was filmed in HD, since that wasn't really a thing in 2000. I'd love to be proven wrong, but this video does not have the clarity "Full HD" would have. It looks like non-HD video upscale...
