Re: Interesting (from Popoff book)

Can any of you point out where I or anyone else here has mentioned the term "large tour"? LOL. You pine for a full show up above. Yet, you honestly think they're going to put in the time and effort to rehearse and hone their skils for a full show and everything it entails for a handful of shows? Le...

Re: Interesting (from Popoff book)

I would think that someone who claims to be a full Alice Cooper fan would be upset by this stuff ( Where was ANYTHING related to the 50th Anniversary? ), but it appears protecting 'the man' and his current path is your first commitment. Understandable, I suppose. :( Bob It's still hard for you to b...

They could have challenged it in the 70s but decided against it, as they valued friendship over the name and such course of action would likely have finished that friendship for good.
I don't care how you slice it, this was a colossal mistake on their part.

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I honestly have never heard any Halestorm to my knowledge, so I figured I'd check them out on Spotify. For the genre of music they play, they are incredibly lackluster. Lyrically, it's embarrassing. It's all extremely sexual, but it comes off as desperate and trying too hard. Go read the lyrics to t...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

All the official ads I've seen both artists names are exactly the same size, and it would normally be written into the contract that they are the same size, as co-headliners. I remember back in '95 there was a big deal about some venues putting Scorpions name bigger then Alice's when they toured to...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I think the ONLY reason it isn't billed as 'Ol Black Eyes' in the US is that it's a joint headliner. You can`t really call it after an Alice name, or a Halestorm name, as that suggests one artist has superiority over the other. So it's neither. Same thing with the Manson and Zombie tours which had ...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I've seen the waiting game work many a time for you! I've always been impressed with your luck on that. Yes, I have had luck with it but that doesn't mean I like having to do it. It's a bit heart wrenching if it's a show I really want to see as I prefer having a ticket in hand. And most often, I'm ...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

"Rock’n Roll Hall of Famer Cooper will bring an all-new show for the Summer 2019 tour. Dubbed "Ol' Black Eyes Is Back," the show will have a very different look than recent tours. New music from Alice is expected in time for the tour, once again produced by Alice’s longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin."...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

It was awful. I'm glad I don't go to many concerts any more. And I have no doubt that much better seats will show up over the next few days. It's always fun to attend a show where you put in significant effort (work arrangements, etc) to try to get good seats when they went on sale 4-6 months prior...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

When the sale started, I chose two available 7th row center section tickets at face value for Pittsburgh (Burgettstown) and the order went through. However, after looking closer at the confirmation screen, I noticed Ticketmaster had taken it upon themselves to turn those two center section 7th row t...

Re: VIP got VERY expensive?

I've done more than my share of general admission shows (no seating) and waited out most of the day many many times for different artists, but nobody more than Alice. It used to be a great opportunity to guarantee yourself a place up front if you were willing to invest the time and effort. And gener...

The School's Out promo video is mostly Hollywood Bowl footage, but there is a shot that looks exactly as I remember Three Rivers Stadium looking

Yes, that's Three Rivers Stadium. There is more footage than this, I've seen it.

1972 Pittsburgh Three Rivers Stadium Footage

I've seen this footage before, if memory serves, it's mostly film of the crowd entering the stadium, but maybe there's some live footage too. Nothing too long.

I've seen it a few times, maybe it's in Super Duper, but was wondering if anybody knew for sure before I started scouring through footage.

I can't help but wonder if any of you discussing how much different people should contribute have contributed anything? I'm not saying you should or should not. But I do think it's pretty ballsy to talk about what any person should or should not do in a situation like this. If you can help, great. ...

Re: Tour 2018!

For a general admission show like Pittsburgh on 10/26, do the packages offer early admission?

It doesn't say anything about early admission in the verbiage for the package presale, so I have my doubts.
