Re: hot sauce and colouring books

Here's my billion dollar idea: the ALICE COOPER POOPER SCOOPER. "Be the first on your block!" "Amaze your friends!"

Re: hot sauce and colouring books

I'm frustrated at the lack of desires mentioned. What are you looking for? In the past 12 months alone, we've had: 1. A great new album, featuring the original band. 2. An upcoming tour of the States, with dates already announced in Europe for next year. 3. A bunch of new merchandise . 4. Fresh app...

Re: The Baz story

Thanks for your well written tribute to your dear friend. I'm not sure if I've ever met Baz but his name sounds familiar. It's humbling to hear how our music brings people together. It's the magic of music. The songs created by musicians connects them, and it also connects all of the people that re...

The Baz story

Hi Dennis. I thought that I'd tell you a story about friendship. (Cue the violins.) I joined this forum in late 2004, so that I could share my love of everything Alice. This "thing" that you helped create has been a constant companion to me for all of my life, and I had finally found the right plac...

Re: DDP

Traditionally, record companies wanted the single to be the opening song on the album. We raised some concern when we insisted that "Eighteen" be the second song. Song order is important and often has to be decided under a looming deadline. Sure, I could go with your suggestion of opening Bones Fro...

Re: DDP

"Kandahar" is a great opener, but I've always thought that the second song on any album is what I listen to the most. It often seems like a better indication of the record's strength. "Me and My Boys" is a great example of that theory. Traditionally, record companies wanted the single to be the ope...

Re: Story Time

That's a fun story...! Sounds like you have always had an energetic imagination. Since we're on the subject of stories, can you shed some light on this? Cameron Crowe once said that the airplane confession in his movie Almost Famous was based on an actual event that happened during the Billion Doll...

Re: Elected mix

Doesn't the single mix have the vocals centered? I thought that was what we heard on Greatest Hits. Also, on Life & Crimes - was that mixed mono? (I think that the School's Out single was mixed in mono.) Just Wondr'ring Aloud.

Talk about magic. Here's that "Da Doo Ron Ron" performance. Hopefully the link takes you directly to the clip. (If not, it starts at 10:02.) I saw the ceremony, but I do not recall seeing this performance. Thanks, Dennis!

Re: Detroit Muscle Tour with Ace

I scored 5th row in Charlotte. If this is anything like the 2019 show in Madison, WI, then I should be in the perfect line of fire for the Billion Dollar bill cannon. I got a bill in 2006, but it has since been lost. I'm hoping to replace it. To me, this is a dream line-up. I demand that the Mustan...

Re: Alice & Stranger Things

This is news to me, too. It's easy to believe where the song came from. It's also easy to imagine it being kindly provided to someone. Some old Alice stuff has started to pop up here and there. The other day, the Twitter page for "Nights with AC" put THIS awesome photo up. I had never seen this bef...

Re: Pure Glen Buxton

I think it could be both Glen and Michael Bruce playing the opening to Halo of Flies. Michael stated in his book that he himself played the wah-wah in the same song. GB played the guitar solo in Ballad of Dwight Fry and the guitar during the long jazz instrumental break in Blue Turk but he apparent...
