Re: Chiller
Chiller was a party. No rehearsal. No Soundcheck. Just good friends having great fun. Here are two other live videos of some of the guilty parties having fun at other occasions. The Voodoo Chile clip was an impromptu jam recorded in Phoenix in ´99, while the other is from a concert we did in Iceland...

Re: MICHAEL BRUCE - LIVE IN ICELAND 2002 VIDEO
BTW, I assume most of you ACG fans have already seen this clip of me and my bro Silli Geirdal jamming on Jimi Hendrix´s "Voodoo Chile" with Neal Smith at the Glen Buxton Memorial Weekend in Phoenix, AZ in 1999; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQlwiC2ojwA It was the first time we ever played with Neal...

"Toronto Bob" said: "Thanks for the info, all those reasons sound quite logical and I applaud the reason for choosing the St. Louis show - even if the SQ isn't pristine, it has a great raw "bootleg" sound." I agree. "Toronto Bob" said: "Regarding the lack of MoL Holiday tour tapes were any "Hail Mar...

Re: OLD SCHOOL 1964-1974 one year later...
Dear fellow Sickies. As one of the guilty partners behind the OLD SCHOOL box set (and very proud of it) I will try and answer some of the questions and crticisms raised regarding the choice of material, omissions and sound quality on the “Treasures” CDs. I can only comment on the “Treasures” CDs, as...

Re: School's been out for 40 years!!!
Does anyone know if Glen , besides coming up with that incredible guitar riff for the title track, wrote the lyrics to "Gutter Cats VS The Jets"? The lyrics were actually written by Dennis and the working title was "Gutter Pussy". In my opinion, School´s Out captures some of the ACG´s finest moment...

Re: Interesting Alice interview in Rollin Stone
Not always, though.
anyone wanting accurate information on "Alice" should pay as much attention to an AC interview as a music fan should pay attention to an AC album post TLT. That is to say, better left ignored.
I completely disagree. Though I think TLT was a very good album, produc...

Re: What if Ezrin produced MOL?
Being a fan of showtune-Alice, Crazy Little Child ranks high. Very high. I have to agree with you there Shoesalesman. Great tune and Alice´s wonderful performance makes it very poignant and touching. Personally I think MOL is a great album but would have loved to see what Ezrin would have done with...

Re: Killer vs. BDB
I love B$B! The songs are great, the performances by Alice and the band are excellent and the production is second to none.
And the packaging....WOW!
Definitely one of Alice´s best ever albums.

Re: What if Ezrin produced MOL?
Mr. Bluelegs wrote "Surprised to read in Dennis's interview that Ezrin was ready to produce the LP, but was miffed over Mike Bruce's comment regarding "Woman Machine"." This was also addressed by Mike Bruce in his book No More Mr. Nice Guy as well as by Bob Ezrin in the VH1 Behind The Music ; Alice ...

Re: Spiders on Mascot reissue
The one review I read said this does not sound as good as the original 45 because it was sourced from a DAT copy.Take that for whatever it's worth. A collector friend of mine in Canada owns the masters. He bought them years ago from Jack Curtis. From what I understand though, the same DAT copy was ...

Re: The Spanish Interview full translation & 2013 ACG and Ez
Pitta, Besides being an Alice Cooper fan I am also a professional musician and producer. I know Dennis, Neal and Mike very well. I have played with them many times at shows in the USA and Europe, jammed with them at their homes and recorded with them in the studio for various albums. Believe me when...
