Re: Film upgrades
Film actually has a much higher resolution than HD, but it all depends on how it was shot. The footage for "Good to See You Again" was pretty murky to begin with due to the low lighting conditions, and you have to factor in if the original camera negatives even exist somewhere. "Welcome to my Night...

Re: Film upgrades
If you haven't seen the recent Queen Rock Montreal movie, you owe it to yourself to experience it. It's wild how good it looks and sounds, even after all these years. Makes me wonder... Which AC film would you like to see the same process used? My vote goes to the 1973 concert(s) they filmed and us...

Re: “Road,” August 25, 2023
Again, let me say how cool it is to have a Glen Sobel drum solo in the studio here. I'm glad someone enjoyed it, He is competent, but man, i will never understand the love for him. I genuinely think he is the worst drummer alice has ever had on the stool. I wasn’t a big fan of Jimmy Degraso after r...

I don't want to breach any copyright on the photos. They're pretty cool though and similar to the type of thing we saw with the Super Duper Alice Cooper book. Does it get you excited for the book? Meaning are there some photos we haven’t really seen before? Yup, I’m excited for the book, but then I...

Re: Yep. Here we are.
Listening to the old guys written tracks on W2MN onwards I ranked them on the albums they are on. Hadn’t done this before and it underlines my interest but lack of enthusiasm for an old guys album. A mixed bag would be a positive summary of this. Runaway Train 12/14 Bite Your Face Off 6/14 When He’...

Re: Alice band members past and present best albums
Most of my favourite albums have already been mentioned. Ryan Roxie has put out some great stuff - Two Sides to Every Story, The Ameriswede EP, and Imagine Your Reality. I also love Orianthi's Rock Candy. O is quite good as well. Also, Addicted to Love is an insanely catchy song (from the Believe r...

For all you Nita haters out there, and we certainly know who you are, Nita just posted she is out due to sickness. That she is taking all the correct medications and to go support Alice and the boys this week. That she would be returning as soon as she is able. Sounds like covid but who knows. If i...

Re: How many times have you seen an Alice concert?
64 times, the first being Pittsburgh 2000 on the Brutal Planet tour. Notable shows were the Golden God awards with the original band in 2011, the Whisky a Go-Go 2011, and the 2 Nashville 2017 original band reunion shows (the 2nd night being on my birthday). Also saw the 2 debut performances from the...

Re: "Road" - Reviews
I’ve listened to Road more times as a new release than I did with Detroit Stories. The thing that ruined DS for me was putting out a lot of the songs on Breadcrumbs. Even though the versions on DS were mixed better, it felt more like a compilation with new songs added in. I’m enjoying this so far ex...

Decline as a lyricist? You are definitely entitled to your opinion but isn't that overkill? Paranormal, a lot of the songs from DS, and yes Road has some wonderful lyrics, classic witty Cooper...I am loving Road right now and it's gets a solid 8.5 from me...Keep up the great work, you are the still...

Re: "Road" - Reviews
I saw Neil McCormack's review this morning. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, that one was unfortunate because it was fairly obvious Alice's recent rant regarding the Transgender movement did him no favors on that review (what that had to do with the actual album itself I don't know). He...

I wasn't crazy with I'm Alice and felt disappointed after hearing the samples, but I'm enjoying the album when you sit down and listen to it. Is it an instant classic? No. He will never match Love it to Death, Killer, etc. No artist usually gets close to their classic work. But there are some good s...
