Re: Alice comments on Michael Jackson
Regardless of what your or MY opinion of Michael Jackson was (and I freely admit: mine isn't kind)... Alice put it 'kindly'. Maybe he KNEW the guy - or not...- I didn't at any rate....
I prefer to leave it that way.
Rest in peace.

Re: Alice In Rob Zombie's Halloween Sequel (Kind Of)
AWwwww...really MD??? I really liked his version (though I, additionally, saw one that was entirely different from the released version, as well...a friend had it..unreleased..). I really liked them: Zombie made me 'feel bad' for Mikey! It 'explained a lot' (perhaps that I didn't need to know, but n...

Really cool video! Thanks for posting that! I really think that I do not need Alice in my Bathroom! I'm gonna go with "keeping the mystery".... Ahahehehe! Love Tyler Mane, though: he's just big enough, and body language good enough to play my fav horror character (wasn't he a pro wrestler at one tim...

Re: Keyboardists
In my opinion: each cd is different. Each difference is accomplished through different sounds which in turn lend to different 'moods' or 'feel'; the sounds evoke different emotions, so to speak. Not everyone NEEDS keyboards, but sometimes; they help to get the point across. Not to mention: they shou...

Re: Would you buy Alice on vinyl?
I think LP is cool: I own all that you stated already, plus some - then again, I'm 'ancient'...- I have "Eyes" (orange), though it's framed - no intention of ever playing it.
If anything came out now: I'd own it and frame it: collectors item.

Re: My somewhat detailed analysis of the album
You know? I agree with you, Shoey. I really do. I think that a lot of the time, the "old time fans" have an idea of what "it will be" and then we talk it up. But it's really just "educated guesses", "Hopes". When it doesn't 'pan out as we expected' - oh hell yeah - we're disappointed. And that's 'ou...

Re: My somewhat detailed analysis of the album
That was an interesting review, well thought out. I agree with some of it, but the CD's not really all that bad, in my opinion. Of course, opinion's all in "the eye of the beholder", so to speak. That being said: "Hungry" - I find myself listening to it - loving it until we get to the chorus and the...

Re: the illustrated collectors guide to alice cooper 10 th year
I just bought this book, but have no idea how to figure out which 'edition' it is (0k..ok...call me a 'girl'... :) ). It goes up to 1998 and the cover price is $17.95 US... It is PACKED with more information than I seriously think I'll ever be able to consume in my lifetime... Interesting read: I do...

I love YouTube...my latest personal Alice interview is: Alice Cooper on The Hour with George Stroumboulopoulos... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgGRSC08lII It has a lot of stuff that you don't hear in 'every interview': ASIDE FROM, the chicken etc... Funny stuff! Love the part about The Muppets! Ni...

Re: Is The Mega Box set Dead?
You know: I too lament the way some things some times go.. It took me three years to build a business and just one ass to 'sign it away' - and it was GONE. Just like that - *snap of the fingers. In minutes: three years worth of work was GONE. I have no say in it now. GONE. But I don't know who and I...

Re: Is The Mega Box set Dead?
I've never claimed to have any music industry experience (other than retail) but in EVERY walk of life: contracts can be a problem. Fact of the matter is: a box set (of the magnitude that you guys are talking about) would involve a lifetime of sifting through years (30 +, now?) worth of legally bind...

Re: Big Theatrical show needed!
I agree with Glam and Shoe: for me, it's not really about the huge props and show...a great performer can make the simplest prop go a long, long way... Like it or not, Alice could get his "Spider" point across with nothing more than a paper clip and a pocket knife (McGyver Style! Aheheh!). He's a gr...

Re: Big Theatrical show needed!
Like it or not: a theatrical show today, (the likes of which he used to do) would cost way too much - which would be passed down to the consumer - which very few could really afford in this economy (gas, heat, food or Alice Cooper?)...and the few who could, wouldn't be interested anyway.. I'd love t...
