Re: The Beginning of the Comeback of Alice Cooper (1986)

We were given a preview of an Alice Cooper return thanks to Twisted Sister. Whether you do or don't like "Be Chrool to Your Scuel", that appearance was almost a full year before Constrictor was released.

Just over 2 hours one way.

Now ask the shortest. That would be across the street !!

Re: "Road" - Reviews

Is it only me but does 100 More Miles seem like an incomplete tune? Upon first listen I was picturing a KOTSS-like break and then a heavy jam but the song ended. And I think Big Boots is the new "Go buck and buck and make a buck".

Re: NWAC ending???

I believe when Nights first started it was only available to a small handful of stations. One of them was near me. It was fun in that beginning almost having the show "exclusive to me" (chuckle). Haven't heard it in a long time but those first shows were exciting enough for me.

Re: Original ACG to release new 7inch single

I visited my local record shop. I asked if they were getting copies. Yes,3 (cool). I asked if I could have a peek at them. He said no (bummer). I asked which variation they had. He wouldn't disclose (bummer). I asked a price. $14.99. I asked if their other local location had any. Yes. One other has ...

Re: Clever Clever Clever

In the early 80s a friend of mine had a friend who worked in radio. One day my friend came over and said he had mentioned to his friend I was an Alice fan. The guy gave him all the Alice records he had and said I could pick out the ones I wanted. I ended up keeping all of them. Here is why: LITD - w...

Re: Hollywood Vampires - Milwaukee

The OnMilwaukee review w/ pics had not been published as of my posting. From my vantage point (far back in the venue)and occasionally viewing a video screen I could see no make up being worn.I could see from the vid screen, however, the "bite marks" on his neck (along w/ a "blood mark" on his shirt o...

Hollywood Vampires - Milwaukee

I just experienced my strangest Alice Cooper live on stage performance. It is strange to see Alice Cooper: 1) Not wear make up of any kind during a live performance. 2) Play harmonica during a live performance. 3) Perform "I'm Eighteen" w/o using a crutch as a prop. 4) See him sing a song I've only ...

Re: Live stream for the show tonight

>>>Eighteen will NEVER be dropped. While I completely agree, one can never be 100% sure where Alice is concerned. Several years ago we had a thread that made mention to what would NEVER happen at an Alice concert. One of the popular mentions was Alice would never start a show w/ SO. We know what hap...

A return to 1980

The start of August is a special time of year for me. I seem to get a bit more nostalgic, for you see it is the anniversary of my first Alice Cooper show: August 1,1980. A 12 year old was going to his second rock concert ever and had lots of excitement going to the State Fair on that date in West Al...

No Alice on the show tonight. Stories on the Oslo tragedy, the US baking in the heat, and Barbie.

Alice on Nightline

Per the newspage, Alice will be appearing on ABC's Nightline tonight. This is a link for the story (the video showing now is Smokie Robinson).

Re: Complete Midnight Special 79 new on You Tube

I agree with WHW about Alice's vocals for this performance. More of his natural growl-type vocals then appeared on A Strange Case of Alice Cooper. This should somehow get cleaned up and released as bonus features for a dvd (or just fine by itself!).

Re: assuming they get in.......

A weird thought here, but,is it possible Renfield made a "fantasy video" induction speech in case there ever was a nomination/election ? THAT would be an ultimate piece of work to see.

Re: Zipper Catches Skin

Here's a ZCS story ... In 1982 I was living in New Jersry. Made the semi-regular trip to the local record store. Looked in the Alice bin and didnt see anything new. I decided to buy Ozzy's "Diary of a Madman". Was at the counter and cashier was ringing up my purchase. Out of the blue I asked,"Any ne...

That's quite a bold statement,Si. Is it possible it could be said further that no tour,no band,no record label = no more Alice?? I shutter the thought !!

Re: No Seattle?

I struggle a bit with that reasoning,Matt. I've seen many shows in the Milwaukee area and slightly beyond and there is always a show in the Chicagoland area and sometimes they are before or after one another. That is a significantly shorter drive between these two locations than what you state above...

Matt (and Andy) ... *brick*

(I hope you get my "smiley" and understand my humor behind it).

As for the video, entitled VIDEO TRASH, it was also released on laserdisc (not that that will help much but just to be thorough).
