As far as I'm aware normally the guests are a surprise, but the local newspaper lists Alice as performing along with Steven Tyler, Michael Macdonald, Pat Simmons, Dave Mason, Weird Al Yankovic, Lynda Carter, Bob Rock, David Draiman of 'Disturbed' and various others as performing at the Wailea Beach Resort which benefits the Maui Food Bank and the Maui Arts and Cutural Center.

Alice Cooper is to appear as King Herod in NBC's  'Jesus Christ Superstar Live' which will air on April 1st next year. Alice previously performed 'King Herod's Song', at the request of the play's writers Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, on the 1996 re-recording of the show.

Signed Snakes 05 Dec 2017

Omnibus Press have set up a pledgemusic page to get signed copies of Dennis Dunaway's 'Snakes, Guillotines, Electric Chairs' book. This obviously relates to the earlier report that DD had signed a bunch of books for them while in the UK. Apparently they won`t ship to the US though!

The Alice Cooper Band, minus Alice, played a "pre-show" in Paris on December 2nd which featured the band running through a selection of solo tracks and covers, and also featured a guest appearance by Calico Cooper who was in town ahead of the Beasto Blanco European dates which begin as soon as the Alice tour ends. Various videos of the show are up on Youtube including 'Grind' (with Calico), Ace Of Spades, and 'No More Mr Nice Guy'.

I mentioned a week or so ago that Alice received a 'Best International Artist' award backstage at the Glasgow Hydro show and it appears that this was part of the SSE Scottish Music Awards. The awards ceremony actually took place on December 3rd with Alice's award presentation being shown via a video clip recorded when the band were in Glasgow. Proceeds from the event went to Nordoff Robbins Scotland.

Alice will be seen briefly on the ABC's 'The Year In Memoriam 2017' on December 18th. This is a year end show remembering celebrities who have passed away during the year. Alice will apparently talk about Chuck Berry and Tom Petty.
