I think my fave is Cleansed by Fire - just an absolute beast, it really is.

Yeah, great track. Really wraps the album up nicely.

I'd be interested to see what the three guitar line up could do with this live. Put it in the slot where the band jams on stuff like Devil's Food / Black Widow.

I'm impressed by all of the great selections for closers & was having a difficult time picking my Fave. When I realized no-one had chosen LD&D,G I knew I had my Closer!

Been thinking about this question; made a list and kept shuffling that list for a top 10... he's had so many good ones it makes it tough. Subject to change at a moment's notice.

1. Escape (Welcome to My Nightmare) - Most AC LPs from this period ended with a big balled, but Welcome closed with a rocker, a fitting one that lets Cooper escape from the nightmare and back to his makeup. It got me so pumped up I'd sometimes left the needle, turn the platter, and listen to the record all over again.

2. I Love the Dead (Billion Dollar Babies) - Of course, could easily be #1

3. Pass the Gun Around (DaDa) - A powerful, painful cry for help. Wagner's poignant call and response guitar solo adds so much to the mood of the piece.

4. Changing Arranging (Pretties for You) - No fooling, I love this album, love this closer. The smooth catchy verses, the rocking guitars, the off-key moments, shifting time signatures and all.

Some really good choices here. I'm pretty fond of "Changing Arranging" myself. Absolutely true of off key moments in the song (and on most of PFY in general!)
