1981 Special Forces Gig - Colourised
Just stumbled upon this old favourite, now given the colourised treatment. Source image is still rough, but it's interesting.

I hate this era as much as I hate Kiss without the make-up and without the four original members.

Yes, but you would not believe me.

All flash, no substance
Re: 1981 Special Forces Gig - Colourised
After the original group this is for me the best period for Alice.

Re: 1981 Special Forces Gig - Colourised
Special Forces tour was my first Alice gig as I was too young to see him in Glasgow in 72. The gig ranks highly for this reason and the fact that the crowd were so good that night. However, this was not my best Alice gig and I hated the military thing.
kISS - enjoyed Alive, liked Destroyer and couldn’t be bothered with them before or after.

He sucks too. Alice also toured with Marilyn Manson and he also sucks. Motley Crue----suck. Vinny Vincent Invasion----suck.

Yeah, got tickets for Tampa in a couple of months. Saw the original Kiss in “76” at The Hammersmith Odeon….not that impressed I’m afraid.

You were not impressed, but you remember when and where you saw the show?

What does it have to do with anything?
I saw Slayer at the Zénith in Paris in 1998 and got bored to death.
Not impressed by Kiss either.
Oh, and thanks for posting the link, Vince!

Got hundreds of ticket stubs in frames . They were ok for a , then 18 year old to see . Tour was based on the “Alive” album…..but let’s be honest, they have no “Ballad Of Dwight Frye” moments.Rhapsody of Fire wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 5:08 pmYou are lucky to have seen Kiss in "76".jacknifejohnny wrote: ↑Mon Jul 12, 2021 2:55 pmYeah, got tickets for Tampa in a couple of months. Kiss doesn't even have a "Thrill My Gorilla" moment.

Thank you Rhapsody, looking forward to it. Hoping with all the time everybody has had off , they have come up with a brand new show…but expecting it to be similar to the last tour.Rhapsody of Fire wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 3:50 amI see,you kept your ticket stubs, I don't keep them, I just throw them away.jacknifejohnny wrote: ↑Tue Jul 13, 2021 1:08 pmGot hundreds of ticket stubs in frames . Re: 1981 Special Forces Gig - Colourised
Since they poured a ton of money into the last tour's stage and then barely got to use it (approximately three months), I think it's safe to say that there won't be a brand-new show, though there could be setlist changes.jacknifejohnny wrote: ↑Wed Jul 14, 2021 1:36 pmThank you Rhapsody, looking forward to it.
