Top notch. Would love to have seen Under My Wheels squeezed in there as well but it was a great performance.

nice pic on the facebook page w/ some of the firefighters on stage.
The firefighters onstage was from Saturday nights concert at Qudos Arena - they were brought on stage during Schools Out

Alice and band were ON. Great performance, and great sound. Bravo! Queen was equally great.
The Live Aid set, of all things. I'm sure that the Freddie clip is a staple, but it was fresh to me. Great to see him still leading the crowd.
Move aside, mere drop of water - let the ocean pass.

Watched Roxie's video blog. Certainly seemed to be a big day for the band and good to see them backstage just before the set.

I think Alice and the band did everything we could have hoped for. Among the lightweight pop they showed why a live rock band will ALWAYS be more exciting and thrilling then dancers lipsynching and playing to backing tapes.
One clip I saw of the end of the show summed it up perfectly... as they panned away from the stage the presenter could be heard saying "oh...my god.. how good was that!!". and he was right.
The comments that were coming through on Twitter were unanimously positive, although the one young lady who declared 'Alice's wife on guitar was awesome' was amusing. She was quickly corrected.
Think Alice and the band did the rock community proud, as did Queen, who were always going to steal the day. It was their stage and lighting, it was dark, and they have THOSE songs which can't fail as EVERYBODY knows them.
Both acts proved why they have been going decades and are still at the top of their game.

Really enjoyed that, despite a couple of fluffs. Good energy.

Watched the highlights show last night on Sky. Didn't expect much so only having School's Out was not a surprise in the context of 60ish minutes of music overall. Like the way they cut it right at the pause after the Brick in the Wall section..

since the aim of the concert was to raise as much money as possible, wouldn't it be logical to release this on given time on dvd ?
(one cannot watch the Alice and or Queen performance in whole on youtube anymore, as expected )
you really wouldn't understand..

I don't know if the whole thing will be released but there is a double album of selected tracks which includes School's Out/Another Brick https://smarturl.it/Firefightalbum
Queen + Adam Lambert have their full set on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAqp6YJWIUU.
It would be great if Alice followed suit.
