If Alice was to a return to a sound...
...what sound would it be for you?
I'd love another album like Brutal Planet. For me that was his last album with no filler (maybe eat some more) and it really got your attention right through. After Brutal Planet Alice was still talking about Alices Seven Deadly as a concept. That would be a great chance to return to that sound with a mini album, a song for each sin.
Or would you like to see him dipp into another sound for a couple of albums?

If we could go back to one exact sound/period,
Raise your fist and yell, I would love to see a third album from that team, they were on fire.Raise your fist and yell is a top 5 album for me. (along with last temptation, welcome to my nightmare, B$B, hey stoopid)
I also loved brutal planet (top 10 album for sure)its a shame the follow up album was a different team as I think if he went in with the same team dragontown might have been killer, instead it was just OK.

Back to the Blackout!
Re: If Alice was to a return to a sound...
Definitely the drum machine and production of "Constrictor".
Re: If Alice was to a return to a sound...
Now I'll be serious. I agree with Pitkin---the blackout years.
I'd also love another album like Dada.

I’d rather he tried something totally new. But like pitkin and Mr.B I liked the blackout part of his solo years. It would have been interesting to see what would have come if he’d continued down the path he was exploring in Dada.
Re: If Alice was to a return to a sound...
the above examples show that Alice has got many sounds...
to me it would be the sound of B$B : the first album I bought and it still remains the album I would take with me if I were allowed to only take one...

I am still waiting on that Killer album that he told us about. haha.
If it’s not going to be that, I agree with Mr B. and Pitkin that would like to see him explore down the Dada path.

Not to pick on you in particular but, I've seen so many posts to resurrect DaDa that I must comment.
AC is a recovering substance abuser & that's why that trilogy has been referred to as "The Blackout Years".
Sure, some great material came out of that pain (& drama) but to try to go back would not be in his best interest.
The overall sound was great & like he previously stated - I think it was Pre-Paranormal that they were looking for that Detroit "Killer" Sound. Did we hear it? You can't put lightening back into the bottle.
So, moving forward (& including his old bandmates) has been a positive step.
Whether you agree or not we still have him touring & releasing material for us to enjoy!

LOVE IT 2 DEATH. Imagine that a 2019 or 2020 recording of that exact sound by the original Alice Cooper band, as if maby back in the day they lost a reel to reel tape of that recording session that was meant to be the 2nd album of a double Love it to Death, unearthed decades later in 2020---but with a more SINister sound. Come on Coop you gotta do it.

LOVE IT 2 DEATH. Or combine that with KILLER and FROM THE INSIDE. His most coolest albums really. Throw in some Devil's food and you got one killer of an Alice Cooper album.
Re: If Alice was to a return to a sound...
Im listening to Paranormal album and im loving it. Playing it so many times really. Sounds like original Coop (without original band maby)--(as if maby the album could of been recorded from 1977 to 1990's?) but when he kind of takes a break from his more sinister recordings. Even the first track's (Paranormal) intro sounds directly from the intro of Lace and whiskey track.

Probably by year 2050 or 2100(??) you could have a computer compose and record new songs of any sound or style of rock or metal that you want, sounding identicle to the actual singer, guitar, bass, drums playing but newly recorded new songs. Just insert any cd of your choice--Love it to death or Killer and minutes later you could hear a new song as if the Alice Cooper band recorded in during the Killer or Love it to death sessions.
DONT BELIEVE ME?, they already have something like that available now on YOUTUBE-

"There are no humans playing any instruments, it's all computer generated." IS THIS TRUE??? Did the artificial intelligence also compose the metal song? or is it all improvised by the computer or is it a hoax? I know to some extent computers can generate and compose(?) new songs but wow.
