New Sealed TLT Cassette Tape & Comic 4-Sale
While shopping for blank cassette tapes, I came upon the following:
https://tapeheadcity.com/products/alice ... sette-tape
At $14.99, this might be a decent buy for a Cooper collector living in the States.

Easier than going back & forth to the Comic Book store for weeks after the CD release!padre_sliprat wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 10:46 amWhile shopping for blank cassette tapes, I came upon the following:

I didn't know you could still buy blank cassettes. I thought thrift stores were the best bet to pick them up.

Surprisingly, there's still a lot of blank cassettes being manufactured, Pitkin. I have, on numerous occasions, bought pre-recorded tapes at Goodwill, then recorded over them.

Re: New Sealed TLT Cassette Tape & Comic 4-Sale
I'd like to know if other SickThings had difficulty acquiring TLT along with the Graphic Novel near or at the time of release ? I was friends with a clerk at my local Comic book store so, when I walked in he knew what I came for & it took at least a month before the series started. Or was it longer...padre_sliprat wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 5:44 pmDaggers & Contracts wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 3:28 pmEasier than going back & forth to the Comic Book store for weeks after the CD release!

You probably mean issue one of the comic, not graphic novel. TLT didn't original come with a graphic novel. It was only packaged with issue one of the 3 issue comic series. The graphic Novel collection came much later.Daggers & Contracts wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2019 4:35 amI'd like to know if other SickThings had difficulty acquiring TLT along with the Graphic Novel near or at the time of release ? The first issue was pretty easy. It was in every record shop (album/comic) and comic shop (comic on it's own) everywhere in the UK (but with different covers for the different outlets).
In fact the comic shop version of issue one was out in May, before the album (June). When I got mine signed by Alice and Gaiman (at Forbidden Planet) I only had the 'Lost In America' CD single. The album wasn't out.
The problem was issues 2 (August) and especially issue 3 which took MONTHS to be released. Online sources say it didn't come out until December '94, six months after the album, but it seemed much longer in my mind.

Great label. Do you know if there are any bonus tracks available?

Re: New Sealed TLT Cassette Tape & Comic 4-Sale
I recall buying issues 2 and 3 from a comic shop in Salisbury, but can't remember how far apart the purchases were spaced. I didn't release that there were 2 versions of issue 1 until a number of years later.
The 2014 and 2015 hardback compilations by Dynamite were really good. I managed to get both the version signed by Neil Gaiman, Michael Zulli and Alice Cooper and the Remarked Edition, which contains a cool unique remarked sketch by Michael Zulli.
