Regarding opening acts (not co-headliners) I seen the Dolls open for Alice a while ago in Glasgow, really was not that fussed and cringed for my Mrs

Completely skipped the Tubes last time I went to see him and enjoyed a few pints (and use of toilets with a dry floor that aint been pissed on by thousands) in the VIP bar instead @ the Hydro. Did not lose any sleep over missing them and rather enjoyed having a few pints without having to queue (even if they did come at a premium).

Will likely skip the opener this year. However when/if Ozzy reschedules Glasgow with Judas Priest opening, that’s as good as a double headliner for me and aint seen either yet.

As for Alice co-headlining with a female rock act...Evanescence 2nd album was the time to do it

Absolutely! They were a great rock n’ roll band. Bands like Halestorm are a dime a dozen. It’s pop music with a heavier tone, still the same generic modern songwriting style that is being pushed in all genres.

As someone with the most peripheral awareness of them, I just realised that Halestorm and Alestorm are unrelated bands. Personally, I'd rather see Alestorm...

Interesting to me that Motionless In White are on the tour - I only know of them through Chris' guest vocals on a 2016 Combichrist track. I love Combi, and they previously discussed touring with Alice but nothing came of it (for which my wallet is grateful.)

For me the best support was Motörhead. Was really looking forward to the Tubes recently but the empty hall killed it for me. Michael Munroe a few years ago was great though.

As for Halestorm and Motionless in White, really pleased to see a different mix and hope it works and grabs a few new fans. There will certainly be a different energy in the crowd.

Not really interested in the Stranglers here though. Saw them at their peak centuries ago but they're probably going to be as bad a choice as the Mission..

I think with the seat situation expecting any "energy" of any sort (other than lethargy) is gonna be wildly optimistic. Halestorm are not good. a couple tracks a decent but mostly just very poor modern style songwriting.
Motionless in white, I remember hearing them a while ago and they were basically a poor Manson wannabe without the good tunes. (has anyone heard anything to the contrary and recommend anything to check out?)

My daughter got me tickets for the August 11 show for Father's Day...guess Good things truly happen to the Good!
Always enjoy my Alice shows and it will six years since I saw him last (6/20/13), so looking forward to it.

I should never question Alice! Super pumped with the addition of the 6 Midwest shows in the US before the Halestorm tour. Now I get to attend!! Front row VIP for Wabash, Indiana. Will be 9th show since becoming a fan in 2006 :)

I’ve correctly guessed the new song additions the last couple of years so let’s see if I can continue to streak. I think we are going to see/I’d love to see:

- Freedom
- For Veronica’s Sake
- Fireball
- Snakebite

Other tidbits:
- Assuming we will see a new opener/backdrop. I think Freedom would be great there but wouldn’t mind seeing Hello Hooray return.
- Love Halo of Flies but assuming it will get changed out for Dirty Diamonds or The Black Widow (we are due for a (“new”) “band jam” song.
- Hoping the theatrical piece in the middle gets some fresh air. Would love to see a Desperado/Dead Babies/Steven return a la 2007-2008ish.
- Could use a rest: Lost in America, Woman of Mass Destraction
- I think Alice’s voice has sounded amazing on Only Women Bleed the last few years, wouldn’t mind seeing I Never Cry return.

Can’t wait!!
If you call that guilty...then that's what I am

Teenage Frankenstein I added these really rare rarities since it's his 50th anniversary and since he said he'll be dip into albums that fans wouldn't expect him to play stuff from. Like my choices?

Ah yes, Luney Tune, the holy grail of live performances for many, myself included.

I think Yeah Yeah Yeah is a very good shout considering the band have apparently been wanting him to do this one for a long time, added to the fact he's been doing a bit of harmonica on stage again lately.

Since 2000, the entire Killer album has been represented, except YYY, as you probably know.
