So who's been to that venue in Aberdeen then?
Ah, not open yet I see. This should helpfully add to the chaos of getting tickets.

Further good news that it's all seated and the VIP packages cover the front 15 rows.
Braving it out until nearer the time when some of the VIP seats will inevitably get put up for general sale is not such a bad way to go, possibly. Requires a lot of nerve though.

Do we know if any of the venues are standing or is it a repeat of the last tour where we all have to contemplate maxing out credit cards for better seats.

I'd assume they'll all be entirely seated, otherwise the VIP stuff would be much more limited and less appealing.bigbradwolf wrote: ↑Tue Feb 19, 2019 1:31 pmDo we know if any of the venues are standing or is it a repeat of the last tour where we all have to contemplate maxing out credit cards for better seats.

UK dates ... Great.
First time ever north of Glasgow and Edinburgh ... really good to see
Aberdeen, new arena venue holding 10,000 - 12,000 ...mmmm
Saturday night gig...good but will need more cash to stay over after the gig
Over 300 miles between Manchester and Aberdeen gigs...missed opportunity
Buying tickets...please god let this time be better!!!

The Manchester seating plan indicates it's a half arena show, and last time they taped off the top tier of seating. So if there's a way to reduce capacity in Aberdeen, I imagine they'll do that.

Well my mate gets o2 presale...will see if that means he can get better seats than the atrocious nose bleeds we had last time. Although I don't hold out much hope. I will have to check the setlist to see how its shaping up....
Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour
Is there likely to be any issues with a 6 and 9 year old getting in the Aberdeen show with parents. Had a look on the Teca site but cant see anything.
I only ask as my kids where not allowed into a Donnie Munro show more recently...bloody bizarre

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour
FFS. no Newcastle dates AGAIN. there's like a 200 mile swathe of SFA North of Leeds and no one seems to care; and yet when Crue put a vote as to where to play a date, Newcastle was massively voted for, resulting in one of the few UK dates, so it's not like there's a lack of ticket-selling opportunities here.
having a serious think now. money being what it is, i'm reluctant to spend the money and hours travelling 150 miles each way if i'm going to get the same old set list for the nth time. No original members to add attraction this time, total cluster the last time i tried to get tickets, and given they seem to be releasing spurts of random dates there's a chance i might get re-aerosmithed ~ buy a ticket for a far-off date only for them to release a Newcastle date a couple weeks later.
any word on prices?

I got block B row A for Manchester and Birmingham. I take it this is front row for both unless they do row AA etc?

Fair play if you did manage to score front row on a standard ticket. I thought I did well getting Row 4 in Cardiff (Block 2, Row D).lordcatfish wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 10:14 amI got block B row A for Manchester and Birmingham. I take it this is front row for both unless they do row AA etc?

That was some faff and the fact that none of the prices are displayed until you're actually beginning the transaction is quite something.
BUT then it seems too good to be true. I managed to get a pair of tickets in the front centre section row C, which is excellent. However, I then checked the most basic VIP tickets and I could have bought a pair of those for seemingly worse tickets and an extra £200. It's all pretty bizarre.
This is for Aberdeen by the way.

I should also add, I nearly gave up when I first selected 'Best Available' and was offered a pair of tickets towards the back and to the side.
