Just in case people haven't heard, there appears to be a worldwide pressing error on both Killer and Easy Action and the manufacturer are trying to recall them all. Both have the correct colour discs and labels, but have the wrong music on them (Killer has Easy Action and visa versa).
Welcome To My Nightmare is fine.

I dropped into HMV on the off-chance to see if mine had come in or whether they knew of the recall. The guy there was happy for me to take them away, so I did. Interesting that Easy Action has again had a pressing problem 48 years on!

In the Netherlands they are not out yet. Are they out in the UK / Germany etc ?

I believe the release date is 26th January (tomorrow) but some of us have received them early for one reason or another.mestreech wrote:In the Netherlands they are not out yet. Are they out in the UK / Germany etc ?

My local dealer told me the release was pushed one month.

More than likely due to the recall, although no specific date has been set from my understanding.mestreech wrote:My local dealer told me the release was pushed one month.

Ordered all three, received only WTMN today from jpc.de without any explanation.

I was at Barnes & Noble today and they had one copy of PFY in the red vinyl Rocktober release. It followed me home.

Congrats, I'm not sure I would open it because I have very few "Sealed" LP's in my collection. Enjoy! I have a vinyl version on the Straight Label. However, I dropped the jacket(with the album inside) on a Hardwood floor. Split the vinyl on the lead tracks. On a good play, I can adjust for no skips & not awful pops! My only vinyl LP that has ever happened to. I have some shattered 78's but they're just for nostalgia.padre_sliprat wrote:I was at Barnes & Noble today and they had one copy of PFY in the red vinyl Rocktober release. It followed me home.

Thanks, Daggers. It's staying sealed. Sorry about your album, maybe someday another will cross your path. They had the blue SF, which I thought about, but I've already got a sealed gold stamped radio promo version. They also had the purple WTMN which I also saw at FYE 10 minutes later (they had 2 copies). I like those two albums, but not near as much as PFY. Now I need to happen upon the gold vinyl EA...Daggers & Contracts wrote:Congrats, I'm not sure I would open it because I have very few "Sealed" LP's in my collection. Enjoy! I never heard of a SEALED radiopromo?? What's the use for that as you want it to be played on the radio??padre_sliprat wrote:Thanks, Daggers. It's staying sealed. Do you open every piece of mail that you get? Radio stations at that time were a magnet for every A&R man out there. It's easy to understand this happening. It may have never made it past the initial opening of the envelope.mestreech wrote:I never heard of a SEALED radiopromo?? What's the use for that as you want it to be played on the radio??

I've owned several radio promo albums in my life and this is the only one I can recall in shrink wrap. It struck me as curious. but the actual cover has a gold radio promo stamp in the lower right hand corner of the front. While it's a minor mystery, products do occasionally get mislabeled and such - the colored vinyl Killer and EA mixup being a prime example.

I have hundreds of promos (not only Alice) and I never saw or got one sealed but for everything there is a first time.Dannorama wrote:Do you open every piece of mail that you get?
