I'd be interested to know if the Rooster Tail show is from a better source and if the 1987 Cincinnati show has a better mix with both guitarists audible

A quick listen and they sound more or less the same as versions I, and probably you, already have. And yes, just Kane on the Cincinnati show. Second guitar more or less inaudible.

And I think their "remastered" versions are just some guy in his front room with Audition or similar tweaking the EQ a touch.

Thanks for the information. Shame about all that - I'd be all for these re-issues if they gave us a good reason for purchasing it. IMO only the Toronto '69 show issued by Easy Action gave us something to be enthused about.

is it just me or do other people have an issue with last CD from 1995 - mine just clicks all the way through it, which is annoying as it is (along with the 1986 one) the main reason i brought the collection (and it sounds bloody good if it wasnt for the clicking!)

No, mine doesn`t have any obvious clicking. Sometimes the high-hat is a little too loud and distorts, and there is some distortion at the bass end, but no actually continuous clicking.

How is the sudio of these shows?

I have the strange case and the audio sounds like their is way to much bass. Same with nightmare dvd. Is their audio improvement for these shows?
