I agree. When I heard they were doing the cover I kinda thought "why bother" but they have done a great job.

I really liked it, too. It's definitely got me interested in the band, so I'll picking up that CD and checking it out further. Good marketing play to the Cooper fans.

I enjoyed it for the most part but Calico "singing" is a bit of a stretch, its ok in the context but i hope she is not front and center on the rest of the album.
Looking forward to it.

Redundant. It was never a good song to begin with.

I knew it was just a matter of time.

The original's a piece of Spinal Tap nonsense; so is this.

Some people are Too Old to Rock 'N' Roll: Too Young to Die. This is a great version of the song

Loved it. The first Beasto Blanco album is really good too.

On the original : Feed my Frankenstein is a great dirty rock tune. I love the main riff, its killer! with its dirty sludgy tone and stripped back punch. The vocals ooze depravity and sexuality (which is exactly what the tune needs) and the rhythm section punch in a solid back line. And obviously the elephant in the room is the simply amazing guitar solos by steve vai/joe satriani. Jaw droppingly good.
On Beasto Blanco's version. Changes up the tempo and approach (but if its even possible) makes it even dirtier. Chuck really gives it some gusto and power upping the ante when needed. I still have reservations on calicos voice but its not a deal breaker by any means.
Good solid version that takes it somewhere new - which is exactly what a cover version should do.
