Don't think that has been mentioned anywhere yet

You can't order it

According to Rolling Stone magazine, it will be released on 'Black Friday' (November 25th) and "will only be available in record shops"

Thanks for that. It's a Record Store Day only release by the look of it. Hopefully Babysquid has a participating store near by.

See Original Alice Cooper Band Perform Heavy 'I'm Eighteen' »

On Black Friday, Alice Cooper will release a special seven-inch single containing two songs he sang last year with the surviving members of the original Alice Cooper band. Cooper joined bassist Dennis Dunaway, guitarist Michael Bruce and Neal Smith last year at Dallas music store Good Records where the bassist was promoting his Snakes! Guillotines! Electric Chairs! memoir. They played a short set, and the single – dubbed Live From the Astroturf – will feature their performances of "I'm Eighteen" and "Is It My Body."

Video of the group's performance of "I'm Eighteen" begins with a brief interview with Dunaway, Bruce and Smith who joke about getting sick of hearing the hit on the radio, their use of props and how the songs and theatricality dovetailed together. When they perform, they do so on a tiny stage, goading on the audience as they dramatically lift their instruments into the air. The clip also shows the line outside waiting to get into the store. Ryan Roxie, who plays in guitar in Cooper's group, fills in for late guitarist Glen Buxton.

The seven-inch, which will be available only in record stores, will come out in a limited edition of 2,500 copies split into white, pink, black and pink and white vinyl. The pink-and-white version, limited to 100 copies, also features autographed prints from Cooper, Smith, Bruce and Dunaway.

All editions also come in a shrink-wrapped gatefold foil board jacket with a sticker, individual number and six five-by-seven double-sided art prints on the inside sleeve. The audio was mixed by Justin Cortelyou and Bob Ezrin, the latter of whom co-produced the Love It to Death LP that serves as home to both songs. The release is dedicated in loving memory to Buxton.

guessing that will work out about 1 copy per shop, therefore no realistic chance at all getting one.

Meh, they'll no doubt turn up on eBay a few hours later with a hefty markup.

That's a polite request not an order

That will happen for sure... Hopefully it will at least turn up on iTunes. Very unlikely I'll find a copy because Record Store Days are crazy in Buffalo with lines forming 2-4 hours before stores open. I would like a copy so why not just print up more copies so all fans will be able to order it online. I would love the vinyl of it but if not I'd be happy buying a digital d/l from itunes

What sort of price will it be?

Chris says they don`t know yet, as not all the costings are in. He's trying to make it as reasonable as he can.

I'd guess somewhere in the $8-10 range. No idea about pounds.

from Paul Brenton: If you are unable to purchase on Record Store Day (i.e. outside the US) send your commitment to Chris at goodrecordsrecordings@yahoo.com

So my strategy would be 1. send a commit email to Chris; 2. Contact your local record stores and find out if they are getting any and reserve with them; 3. Go to your record store at the opening on Record Store Day. I may be just a bit biased... but this will sell out that day.

No price as yet. I would say if they cant ship outside of the US then ship to a Sick Thing here and then have them mail it to you. I know that would be more expensive but if you want it that bad...

This could be a good idea anyway. That way the sender can mark it "gift" for customs purposes and avoid any unexpected customs charges.
