4 covers is still too many, and i'm sick of Brick in the Wall spoiling School's Out.

Doesn't that count as 5 covers?

And have to agree, School's Out is a classic, now spoiled by a sub standard song.

well, not being to fond of the covers myself, I must admit though they were received with great enthousiasm ! Especially Ace of Spade made the crowd go crazy, and Sufragette City did very well too..
Had the impression it was much smoother than during the RTD tour, or maybe I was getting used to it by now..
you really wouldn't understand..

I'm against the whole covers idea though I do like how they are being played. Pinball Wizard and Sufraggette City are great.

BUT School's out with Another Brick in the wall?

I'm all in. It's a way younger generations can get to understand what is it all about.

There are lot of places where Alice Cooper is a nobody and Pink Floyd (Specially Roger Waters) is considered one of the greatest rock acts in the world...

just watched the pictures from the show on the homepage.
is there a specific reason why the snake wasn't there in Brussels ?( I know there used to be or still is a ST who lends his snake whenever needed )
was it there in Tilburg ??
you really wouldn't understand..

They use a snake when one is available. It was possible in the UK (as Bill was going to be there), but circumstances meant that snake couldn`t be transported for the European dates.

Sixx AM are fast becoming my favorite band so was great to see both Nikki and DJ jump with Alice in Denmark .

I know DJ was estactic to get the chance to join Alice .

Out of curiosity how did Alice introduce DJ ? Im sure I heard him say "from Guns n Roses" which would be a little odd .

DJ did play with Guns N' Roses until recently so it's not entirely wrong.

Sixx:A.M. is great, loved them for years. Saw them in Sweden just the other week as well and they have really great chemistry live. Love DJ as a guitarist.

Yes I realise this - I too have been a fan for a long while But DJ left GnR over 12 months ago , GnR are currently touring with Slash and Duff again ( as Alice would well know).

Just seems very odd that Alice would say "from GnR " rather than from Sixx AM - who were also on the bill with him the past couple of festivals .

No real issue I just thought it strange

Hello, I'm going to my first ever Alice gig tonight in Reno and will be racing from two hours away to make it. The tickets say the show starts at 8pm so can you tell me what time Alice would typically take the stage?

I'm leaving work at 6pm so think I'm cutting it tight but hope that like most gigs the time on the ticket doesn't reflect the actual start time.

Thanks for any responses...can't wait to see a legend!

Matt

For the three shows I attended on this tour, Alice took the stage just a little after 8. No later than 8:10, I think.

I agree with Hunter. They typically schedule for 10-15 minutes after ticket time when they're doing shows with no opener-which this tour is. And Coop shows are ON TIME, so even if they are doing that, you won't have much time to spare!

Good luck with the drive, and have fun! :alice:
