I just came back from the Dennis Dunaway book signing......

The signing was held at the Strand book store in NYC. Damn, all I could say is that is was fantastic! Dennis spoke for a while and then performed a few songs with Blue Coupe (ex members of BOC). They were just amazing! The opened with "Eighteen", "No More Mr.Nice Guy","Don't Fear The Reaper" and last but not least, you guessed it, "School's Out". Finally Dennis sat down and signed away. He signed my book and then I got the CD "Million Miles More" (great album) signed by the band including Snooky and Tish who sang back up. There were hand outs, a tote bag, some kind of certificate, which he signed, and some other silly goodies. I also got my Alice Cooper greatest Hits CD signed. Dennis' wife Cindy was there. She was so cool and she even signed my book and cd. Afterall she was the orginal costume designer for the Cooper Group and Neal's sister. This was some real cool engagement. :8):

Glad you had a good time. DD and Cindy are both cool people and Blue Coupe are an awesome band.
Getting my book in the next day or so.

Hoping for lots of comments about the book as mine is winging its way from the US so I doubt I'll have it for a couple of weeks!

That's great that the Event was such a great experience. I bought my book at my local book store yesterday and I've started reading.

I've started reading it, but am only about 25 pages in so far. I like it. It's well-written, which isn't true for a lot of the Alice-related books, IMO.

OK, now that a bunch of idiotic posts have been deleted, I look forward to a fairly level headed interpretation of the early ACG Group. Should be good reading. Mods please delete my past few posts. :)
