Orianthi Out For Some Dates?
According to Richie Sambora's website, I see that Orianthi is touring Europe with him from mid-June right up until the day before the Crue Tour starts in July.
I see one direct conflict when they are in Paris and Alice is playing in Michigan on June 26th. I would imagine she's also out for June 28th show also due to other shows in that time frame in Europe.
Wondering if she is out for just these conflicts or this is sign that she is moving onto other things? I hope not, I really enjoy her in the band.

Correction, she would also miss the first date or two of the Crue Tour as she is in Glasgow on July 3rd with Richie.

Re: Orianthi Out For Some Dates?
Apparently Orianthi will not play on the Cooper/Crue tour, at least not on the first leg. She will concentrate on recording and promoting an album with Sambora. However, she did not rule out a return for future shows.
Here is a link to a recent Bonjovi fanzine interview, where she talk about it:

Thanks for the information. I'm sorry to see her go, but figured the time would come eventually as she has her own music/career to promote.

As far as I am concerned this year is not shaping up very well. A new release of covers, another rehash of Raise the Dead tour as a opening act and now Orianthi is out. She is truly a great guitarist and added that something extra to the band.

The question is now... who will replace Ori?

Maybe Orianthi won't be replaced. Maybe there'll only be two guitarists again?

That is a thought, although Tommy didn't play a lot of leads, did he?

I hope they go back to a two guitar line up. I thought Ori was a great stage contrast to all the guys in the band, but never thought the three guitar line up provided anything substantially to the sound. Although, when the Deacon was there he always managed to throw in some really tasty stuff.

I wouldn't mind seeing them bring out a keyboardist again. It's been 10 years since they've had one so it would feel like a nice change of pace now.

Re: Orianthi Out For Some Dates?
That would be interesting...although he's not the buffed monster from the 80's, he's still a big guy and a neat contrast between Ryan and Tommy. Alice always said he liked working with him too.

Re: Orianthi Out For Some Dates?
Orianthi has, in my humble opinion, been brilliant for Alice Cooper and visa versa. The girl has excellent stage presence whilst not coming across as wanting to steal the show (she's certainly a lot less gimmicky than Kane Roberts was). Michael Jackson saw this and getting her on board was an absolute steal by the Alice camp and demonstrates how respected an artist he is.
I've really come to like this current band, Chuck being a real favourite of mine. I'm sure they'll find a more-than-adequate replacement, I'd love to see Johnny Depp join up short term!
