Welcome II My NIghtmare or No More Mr. Nice Guy Tour?
Over the last few months Alice has mentioned the tour changes in October with new props etc... He also mentioned it might be Welcome to My Nightmare II. Which is it? Is it NMMNG continued with a new show and song selection or Welcome II My Nightmare II with that theme and songs. I'm confused. Hoping it's Welcome to my nightmare II.
Re: Welcome II My NIghtmare or No More Mr. Nice Guy Tour?
We probably won`t know exactly what it will be until October.
All we know for sure is they are putting together a new show and intend to start performing it in October.

Well from what Alice told me backstage on June 19 in Louisville, he said that its definitely the Nightmare 2 tour that is happening. I just wonder even though the east coast and such got a bunch of dates this year for the NMMNG tour, I hope they might add a few additional dates back on this side of the country for this new tour. I would hate to have to wait until next spring/summer to experience this show (yes, I know I could travel to whatever city on the west coast but financially its not sound to do so).

I think it might be the Nightmare 2 show, but if it isn't then I still can't wait to see a brand new Cooper show. Going to see Alice is a yearly tradition for me. I wish I could afford to see more than one of his Halloween shows lol.

Let's hope so. I'm holding out hope for some dates in October considering they have the West Coast already scheduled and the east/mid-west seems to be Alice's bread and butter.AlongCameASpider27 wrote:I just wonder even though the east coast and such got a bunch of dates this year for the NMMNG tour, I hope they might add a few additional dates back on this side of the country for this new tour. Other than the early Dayton show, I don't think Alice has touched Ohio this year which is usually good for a couple shows at least. Columbus, Toledo and Cleveland are all possibilities. Also, Alice has played Erie, PA a few times in recent years so that's an option near me too.
I have a wedding to attend on October 13 so it's a virtual certainty that there will be an Alice show that day that I would have attended.
I try to keep my driving to within 8 hours if possible, but I'll deviate from that to catch at least one of the new shows this Fall if possible.

Hey don't forget Glenn, that Alice hit Cincinati last year in December so that is another possibility. He could hit Evansville, IN another city I've seen him in the fall (October).
Well, I will be curious to see what transpires...

I'm kind of hoping for a Milwaukee show. He seem to hit there about every 2 years, so this would be the year. (Hopefully Summerfest with Maiden doesn't count! LOL)
Either way, I'm willing to make a drive!

No, that talks about the possibility of a covers album and a stage show sometime in the future based upon the idea of "Alice's Deadly Seven." But, it never actually references the immediately upcoming tour/dates.Awakening wrote:Here's some new rumours about the upcomming tour...

The opening paragraph certainly could lead one to believe the cover CD will be out this fall with a tour supporting it:NotSoPerfect wrote:No, that talks about the possibility of a covers album and a stage show sometime in the future based upon the idea of "Alice's Deadly Seven." According to BraveWords.com sources, ALICE COOPER will follow-up last year's Welcome 2 My Nightmare, with a brand new album of cover songs that will be supported by a fresh show for the fall.
That doesn't mean the tour is tied to the album. Is it even possible that a covers CD could be out this Fall yet remain under the radar for so long?
I think this is most likely confusion on the part of Bravewords, but Alice has been known to throw a curveball from time to time.

Well, projects are just that. Sometimes they work out other times not.
For now I am hoping there will be a second Swiss date this year when the new tour starts (like it happened last year).
Actually right now I am getting very hyped up as I am seeing Alice tomorrow! It will be a bit odd as I must go to the other stage first to support the band of friends of mine. I am so happy for them as they are big Cooper fans and are so overjoyed to share a bill with him.
But to be honest I doubt I could have been able to be at the fence for eight hours in a row... I'll do my best to get as close as I can, wish me luck

Neat!
Yesterday's show was great! So nice to finally hear Caffeine live! So this was my last NMMNG show. On to the new show then!

So from that ad, it looks like the new tour is called "Alice Cooper's Night of Fear." I am very excited...just hope there are a few more dates before the end of the year added back on the eastern side of the USA.

Actually, I think that "Night of Fear" only refers to the UK Halloween shows. Last year's UK Halloween shows were also the "Night of Fear."

Well I thought that too, but that show is for the Las Vegas show in November if you noticed so perhaps that is the new tour name...but I could be wrong.

Re: Welcome II My NIghtmare or No More Mr. Nice Guy Tour?
If anyone remembers, I posted artwork that the venue used from the Pittsburgh show in July and it was billed as the "Night of Fear" with the terminology/artwork, even though it was the NMMNG Tour.
Not sure if that was sourced from the venue or not, so who knows where some of this artwork is coming from.
I find it a bit hard to believe the new tour would billed as "Night of Fear" considering that's been used already, but it is a catchy title.
