You guys think it would be cool to see an Album done by Alice and Rob Zombie together? With videos for the singles?

It would be neat to see them working together. I'd buy it.

I think it would be cool if Rob Zombie worked with him doing videos and writing for songs. He doesnt have to sing or throw in his heavy side into Alice. Even if he did, it would be good either way. But Alice and Rob doing a movie or music video would be really cool.

Do the bad films House of 1k corpses ring any bells?

You all SERIOUSLY want Alice to work with a hack?

Devil[s rejects was much better but c'mon, outside of really odd music Rob really has nothing going for him.

And don't mention Sherri Moon Zombie....that'll be like pouring purified salt on the wounds

Yeah and theres a reason why ALice and him are friends.

They are the same thing in many ways just different times.
You sound like parents of the 70s when their kids listened to Alice

I seriously LOVE the Zombieman, but I don't think he and Alice doing an album together would be such a good idea. They both have very strong personalities and chances are the results would be disappointing to both Alice fans and Zombie fans.
A tour together, however, would be absolute magic. I am patiently waiting for the day.

THANK YOU!

Zombie is more of Alternative metal than Alice's straight out hard rock. The musical styles would clash.

Both films were amazing, especialy considering most movies that come out these days, he's far from a hack

Not a bad idea, they'd almost won the Grammy award in 1996.

Devil's Rejects was alright. But HO1KC was a definite Texas Chainsaw Massacre ripoff.

Seriously, Rob should have his permission to direct and write movies license revoked.

Have you seen the Chainsaw masacre??
It might have a little influence in it but nothing more.
I watch horror films daily so maybe my opinion is bias but I wouldnt say its a ripoff at all.

You know, it'd be a weird thing to see, and to some, they wouldn't agree to see it. However, maybe if he did some work with Rob, it would spark the true sound that Alice and his SickThings have been looking for. Never say never.. I think it'd be worth a shot.

With all respect to Mr Zombie, I don't see why Alice should lower himself in that sense, but then again he's done it before; Dee Snider, Bon Jovi, G 'n R etc etc.....surely he doesn't think those artists are on Cooper's level artistically....or maybe he does? As for Rob whatever his name is....the guy can't even sing, why is this a discussion?

Bahah cmon!
Lower himself is harsh.
Back in the 60's and early 70s Alices voice was very hardcore to people as well. Times change. This is a new 'hardcore' voice. How is singing with Dee Snider GnR or Bon Jovi lowering himself?
They did some fun work together and it was all out of mutual respect for each other. It might have helped others see Alice and brought in new fans. Rob Zombie might not be favored in your books but that doesnt mean hes not talented in any way. I dont even like all his stuff, but I will admit he has talent and IMO he is as close to Alice Cooper as you will get for the time being.
Not in sound but in style and writing. Times change, so does the sound of music. You probably wont like it. But look beyond that.
