then why do you give any credibility that the song was about Bob?
IF, you read my original comment - I don't really, but maybe he was the INSPIRATION for the song and they tied a concept in with it.

Here is the transcript of what the chap said;

"Yes, he is from Toronto and he and Waters did have a falling out. The song "Have a Cigar" is about Bob, which is not very complementary. Bob liked to smoke cigars when surrounded by a band. I saw this in London at the bar of the Halcyon Hotel with a Spanish goth band. Everyone was drinking pepper schnapps and Bob was in the center smoking a cigar. He is the one who suggested the kabuki makeup for KISS"

I'd ask Roger Waters guitar player who I know to ask him but it's such a ridiculous story I wouldn't waste his time.
Don't upset yourself with this, read my original post - I'm 'on your side'!
Upset? why would that be?

Bob and Roger fell out after the Wall not before it.

How many people smoke cigars?

think your contact was smoking something else

My sources are more accurate than your break down on how to play Eighteen, Glen would laugh at this:

steven_crayn wrote: 5 chords actually but A isn't one of them it's an Am.

Em C D as you correctly said with Am and Bm the other two.

There is confusion sometimes as power chords can be used often omitting the 3rd creating an ambiguity to the harmonic nature of the chord being major or minor.
Further confusion is created by the harmonic series so you could hear a major 3rd in a two note A5 chord, but the underlying harmony on 18 if playing A5 & B5 are of minor chords.

An accurate transcription of the song appeared in Guitarist magazine issue 221 March 2002.
You haven't listed any sources Tommy Stooge I have listed a source for a transcription of 18 which confirms what I already knew. Glen knew how to play the song you clearly don't if you are disputing the chord progression, not that that surprises me as you are the one who said you were embarrassed seeing Steve Hunter on stage with Alice Cooper and in saying that will forever have no credibility.
Glen would have laughed at that because, he played by feel, not by worring about "further confusion by the harmonic series so you could hear a major 3rd in a two note A5". what a joke...

And you clearly didn't get Toronto Bob's joke on Sick o phant...otherwise you wouldn't have been so quick to point out the spelling mistake, you would have commented on the bad joke.

...And I really don't believe you've talked to Neal, Dennis or Mike about the break up, otherwise your views would be in line with what I've been saying...
I know Glen played by feel that's not the point if you read what I said it's the job of others to anaylize music. If you don't understand music theory fine but don't slag those off that do just as I wouldn't criticize those that don't need to.

Some of the greatest players didn't know what they were playing but it still sounded amazing.

A friend of mine an established guitar player who has worked with the likes of Carl Palmer interviewed Van Halen for a main guitar magazine and came away with the impression that Eddie didn't know music theory but it didn't matter. Same with Michael Schenker great player who when it was pointed out during his UFO heyday he was using the jazz scale in his solos didn't know and it doesn't matter, not every player is a Brian May who understands every note of what he is playing, both a valid so why are you making an issue of it?

As for me speaking to Mike,Neal and Dennis about the break up if they have told you a different story why not reveal your sources?

In the Old School box set, is there a tribute or 'in memoriam' to Brian anywhere in the contents?

Any news in the "golden ticket" owners what kind of special treatment they get?
I wonder if the rest of the 5 golden tickets have appeared by now.

Because some people cannot afford it, we are not all rich with money to throw around, no matter how much we want something, other stuff comes first.
Anything I say or write is my own personal opinion, no matter who agrees or disagrees with me.

I will give you a close view of mine as soon as possible.

On it is written:
You can now come to any Alice Cooper concert with a friend as our very special guests, including an after-show meet-n-greet and a gift bag of fantastic Alice merchandise.

I don't know if it will the exact same treatment as a classical VIP Platinum Package or if I will have something more special… I will know it in November !

I read somewhere that another Golden Ticket has been found, don't know anything about all five.

Hey bro... take it slow...
why are you so rude?
I'm sorry you took my response as a rude one, it was meant as it was written.

I saved up a long time to but that boxset to have the privilige of enjoying it and reading stuff like that.

it reads:
RIP BRIAN "RENFIELD" NELSON, without whose years of building the Alice Cooper Archives and Alice Cooper fan outreach this project would have been immaesurably more difficult.

Thank you for sharing. Nice to see one in great detail. I wonder why you edited the picture and hide some text on it? What does it say in that part?

Obviously those were the directions for how to redeem the ticket, so that information shouldn't be made public.
