Re: I'll Bite Your Face Off (new song)
I have heard it on you tube which is a little rough. I do like the song quite a lot. I can imagine how well it must sound on the album all polished and produced. I can't wait till this album comes out I have a felling it's gonna be awesome.
As for a single I don't know..maybe? Id love to hear the albums version then I would know more if it has a "single" feel to it

I'll Bite Your Face Off
It would be nice to hear a better recording of it.
It sounds like a Stones song to me.

Haven't listened to it on YouTube yet, but in concert,to me it sounded like what something on ACAS would sound like if Ezrin was involved. It had kind of that pop feel to it, real hook riff (probably the Stones reference), but with a lot more underlying complexity than anything off of ACAS. Also, a interesting bridge.

It sounds like a good song but admittedly hearing it on a YouTube concert vid is not the best first exposure.

Re: I'll Bite Your Face Off (new song)
A very good song indeed. The opening riff sounds like it was taken straight from the Rolling Stones songbook which is a good thing because that band has truckloads of cool riffs. The slow middle part reminded me a lot about Elected. The melody was very catchy, in my opinion. This wouldn't be a bad choice for single. If rockers on WTMN2 are like this and there are a few classy and atmospheric ballads and a couple epic horror tracks thrown in for good measure, I will be a very happy man.
I can't wait for the new album.

I'm sure we'll get much more video of it if they continue performing it on this tour.

I heard a rough version on youtube.Sounds like vintage Alice with a Stones/Who feel to it.Can't wait to hear the studio version and what Bob Ezrin brings to it.

Just gave it a listen. Even though I can't really get the lyrics, it sounds great in my ears :)

Re: I'll Bite Your Face Off (new song)
I'm quite surprised by the rave comments about the new song.
I was very excited about Alice doing another nightmare, basically cause I hope it will bring back a darker, more evocative sound and songwriting, and what I get here is another Stones rocker that could have fit in any of his last three albums without being particularly noticed.
The song is catchy, no doubt about it, just one listen and it is stuck into my memory, but this is mainly because it is something that has been heard a million times before.
Honestly, I don't hear any complexity in this, which I was really looking forward to, and the slow part sounds like the first arpeggio you can practice when starting to learn to play guitar.
I still wait for a better sounding live version and of course the studio version, hoping they will make me change my mind!

I would agree with you. Especially since most of the lyrics cannot be heard particularly well in this instance.

It sounds to me how one of the songs on ACAS would have sounded, had Bob Erin produced. Like Wrapped in Silk or I'm Hungry.

Re: I'll Bite Your Face Off (new song)
I agree with both 2 above posts. It reminds me of some acas on the chorus and some dd during the rest part..I think it could easily be in the 'night shift' than the dark wtmn2..of course that doesn't mean that the song isn't quite enjoyable and catchy!Plus we haven't even listened to the studio version..

Re: I'll Bite Your Face Off (new song)
That's hard to say considering we A.) Don't know how 'Night Shift' would have sounded or B.) Don't know how the rest of W2MN is going to sound. However, Alice did say that the songs are going to have a variety of sounds just like the original Nightmare did (going from Broadway Showtunes, to Rockers, the ballad, etc.)I think it could easily be in the 'night shift' than the dark wtmn2..
