Oh dear! I need to save some money already! Waaaay to many things in September. Robert Plant's new album, Black Country Communion album, and my "work/holiday" week!
Five weeks after my birthday, ok I can live with that! Thanks for posting!

Direct link to the "small" video. Hey, Gorehound! You're a celebrity! And I see Jon too!
But is that really footage from that night or are my eyes too weak? I think I see Ravenred and Bill but Bill was at the fence why is he in the crowd? I'm all confused now LOL!

Can't wait for this... I have a feeling this one is gonna be the best yet.
"Golly gee it's wrong to be so guilty..."
Re: Theatre of Death DVD
Hmmm.. appears Metal Hammer hve blown the whistle a few days too early.
This was the news we've been simply DYING to tell you all for a few weeks now (but couldn`t for various reasons). Alice Cooper at the legendary Roundhouse in London on Halloween! These will truly be special shows. I've seen Alice a ton of times, but it's honestly seldom I've been this excited about the prospect. From what I've heard the plan is to make these very special shows.
And best of all (for me), I should be back on my feet and well enough to be there!

Seems someone writing the blurb about it got a little carried away...
"Fans of the ultimate Rock 'n' Roll showman won't be disappointed as Alice is subjected to guillotines, gallows and the electric chair on his way to being "killed" four times!"

Re: Theatre of Death DVD
noticed that too... and I was like.. heh?! electric chair?! ah well, maybe it was just taken from some kind of review from one of the shows and the writer got a bit stuck in the past and such...
shame the Cyclops isn't on the DVD...

Re: Theatre of Death DVD
I wonder if it's the same text that will appear on the reverse of the DVD cover? Would be a shame to have an inaccuracy like that, IMO.

Dang, I just realised I am going to fly home from London on the 27th!! Argh! And then I'll have to wait for amazon to ship the dvd to me. One more day and I could have bought it myself at the stores!

Re: Theatre of Death DVD
You don't even know what Lisa has in mind and you say no.
Well you might not find it a good idea, but it's been done before. Not necesarily a fan booklet, but more reflected approaches. At least in the graphic novel and novels world. I have several graphic novels where professional illustrators paid tribute to their colleague and did some fan art. Fan art is not a dirty word you know.
I just did an illustration for a book by a famous writer who asked us fans to send stuff. It's a fun way to pay tribute and also a good publicity. I rarely work for free unless it's charity or something fun like this.
I don't mean the kind of "manga fan art" or kiddies drawings you see online, but a series of professional illustrations. Why not? Look at the booklet for ACAS, the various styles and graphics are suggesting different timeframes, so why not do that with various visions by artists?
Am I mixing this up or didn't Iron Maiden do something like this? I am not a fan so I am really not sure about that but it rings a bell.
Having said that it's not a serious proposal we were having fun with fan dreams and you always enjoy crushing these don't you?
