Yes, I believe it was.

Looking forward to seeing the STUK crowd up front during the audience pan shots. ;)

Cool. I'm really looking forward to a second AC blu-ray release!! That previous Montreux concert bd looks excellent in high definition, the format certainly makes a big difference.

It was indeed filmed last night. Sadly not all sickies made the barrier due to the absolutely appalling way entrance to the venue was handled; IMO it was, quite frankly, extremely dangerous. People who had been in line for many hours ended up further back.

Aside from that it was a great crowd and Coop and Co. put on a fine performance. It was asked at one meet and greet when the DVD would be released and Toby said possibly Spring 2010, but no definite plan yet. Only aspect of the filming that I found a little surpring (and disappointing) was that there was no 'overhead' camera on a crane so I do feel that some potentiallygreat sweeping shots of the stage and crowd will have been missed. That said, there was still a fair number of cameras both on and in front of the stage to bring the Theatre of Death show nicely into our homes once the DVD is out.

If my mug does show up on there, please remember that the camera adds 10lbs... ;)

I agree, DA. I remember watching the DVD for WtMN which was also filmed in London....[Why is everything always filmed in London?....Why are the Brits always the ones who get their little faces on film?] For WtMN, they interviewed British fans who said "He was brilliant, just brilliant"....How many times do you think we are going to hear the word "brilliant" if the Brits are interviewed again, Eh?

Well yeah, Kevin! Us poor Canadians are so neglected. It should have been filmed in Montreal, not Montreux... :nono: :rotfl:

What makes you Brits so special anyways? After all, you guys gave us Charles and Camilla....

Somply put, even Alice knows who runs the best Alice website in the world, filming concerts here is Alice's way of thanking Si for all the hard work and effort.

Did all the props work properly for you guys? My show had a few "mechanical malfunctions". I'd hate to see similar show up on a dvd.

I dunno, watching Si doing the She's A Maniac dance on the barrier would be worth the DVD cost right there. But then again maybe he's more of a Footloose guy.

Luvs ya, boss. ;)

Si didn't make the barrier last night ::((:

Most venues this year took the mick. He deserved to be on that barrier, we all queued all bleeding day and yet security had a really retarded system that meant all the idiots who wanted to push their way to the front could. What a joke

Yeah, tell me about it. As Sparky said elsewhere, it was just downright dangerous the way they did it and queueing all day counted for nothing in the end.

Getting into the hall last night in London was dangerous. It is VERY lucky no one was badly hurt or even killed.
Yes, it WAS THAT BAD.
Worst case of ineptitude I have ever seen in over 25 years of concert going.
