That was Bon Jovi.

That's interesting. Thanks. Do you have any evidence of this? You can contact me privately, if everyone else thinks this is too boring.
Evidence? Well...LOL That was over 20 years ago, so, no I don't, Sorry you'll have to take my word for it. If I do find anything to the contrary I will send it.

Alice toured with Vinnie Vincent on the Contrictor Tour in 1986.
Two different tour archives corroborate this.

I first saw Alice on the Nightmare Returns Tour....Megadeth opened up...some dude in a row in front of me MOSHED thru the entire Megadeth set..the lights came back on and they began to setup for Alice Cooper to get on..during this break the dude was still moshing!!
Great show....But nothing will stick out like Raise your fist and yell and the Brutal Planet tour for me

First show I saw was WtmN, in Chicago, I think it was at the old amphitheater, but not sure and got in too late to see the opening act. Someone brough up Billy Squire (FtF tour), I remember him getting booed off the stage at ChicagoFest (not his fault), but was recieved very well at Indy prior.

My First Alice Show was in 2000, Nottingham Royal Concert Hall, Brutal Planet Tour. Can't remember the date but I know it was in July. I Think DIO supported him then. I also attended the Birmingham NEC BP Show about year after Nottingham.

I saw him first and only time in 2005 Dirty diamonds tour. My expectations were little too high so I was a bit dissappointed. But I will see him on Theater of death tour on December here in Finland and I am sure that I won't be dissapppointed. I am very excited already.

Wow really??? I don't think I have EVER walked away from an Alice show dissapointed, other than the time Frehley's Comet had to cancel, but that had nothing to do with Alice. The son of Don Quijote wrote:I saw him first and only time in 2005 Dirty diamonds tour. Re: The first time you saw Alice live....
just like humanary stew, mine was the special forces tour at the Glasgow Apollo in 1982, must be one of the greatest venues anywhere, I was only a boy but i remember that the crowd chanted "ALice alice", from the very start of the concert to the very end, the reviewer said that it was more like a religious event than a concert and he half expected Alice to walk out on a shaft of blinding light, to this day (and thousands of concerts later) i have never known an atomosphere like it.

Re: The first time you saw Alice live....
first time I've seen the man was in 2008... I know, it's very late... but he hasn't been in the Netherlands since 2005 or something and back then I already was an Alice fan, but not as big as I am now.
discovered he came to Germany in 2008 and I just had to go!
when he appeared on stage I just started to cry!!
I really felt the happiest girl on earth, finally I saw my hero.
second time I saw him was in july 2009 (traveled to Belgium)
and at the end of the year I'll see him again... in The Netherlands! (finally!!)
and with a VIP package! how amazing is that :D

Re: The first time you saw Alice live....
First time for me was last year (that was the first time Alice has been to New Zealand since 1990) My dad went to that show but I was only 5 then.
Will be the second time on Friday and I cannot wait for this one
With any luck I will have the money and opportunity to catch a few more shows by flying to Australia during the next tour.
I am just glad I have got to see him live.

Yeah, I too was bummed that he didn't do his famous rendition of Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing In The Dark."The son of Don Quijote wrote:I saw him first and only time in 2005 Dirty diamonds tour. My expectations were little too high so I was a bit dissappointed.

Re: The first time you saw Alice live....
Great thread Tony and an impressive number of Alice gigs.
Andy and Matt have earnt their privileges to enable them to see Alice so many times.
Seen the great man all over the UK on every tour since my first gig at Birmingham in 82 which was magic.
But of the approx 35 Alice gigs I've seen the Raise Your Fist tour was the best saw it at six different venues and the strange thing was the support band Chrome Molly found out they got the Alice tour the night the band I was in at the time supported them, I was so jealous!

Re: The first time you saw Alice live....
Thanks! Honestly that total only averages out to 2 per year since my brother first took me to a show in 1980. Granted he was on hiatus for a while in the early 80's.steven_crayn wrote:Great thread Tony and an impressive number of Alice gigs.

There are some people on here that blow my total away. The two you have mentioned being a few, and NotSoPerfect along with a few others will catch me in a few years at the rate they are going. I hope they do because that will mean Alice is still "going".
