Ok, all us in the Uk are.
Anything I say or write is my own personal opinion, no matter who agrees or disagrees with me.

The bitter troll in me (and a severe case of jealousy) has come upon me with this tour anouncement.
Re: Alice to tour Oz??
Great news re the coop dates , we have been very lucky the last few years re coop dates .
As always we are very exiting to see a coop show in oz
Got to take my 2 children as i promised them so im up for more money than i can afford . I did take them to the palms gig and they loved it so much they invited themselfs to any future coop gigs .
My offer to build a full size exact replicia cylops , still stands if the coops management says its ok . I could walked around out the front before the gig at the melbourne gig or strut around at the rear of the stage for 30 seconds what ever they say will be done .
If they say go , it will be done at my costs .

Re: Alice to tour Oz??
The quick arrival of the Aussie dates means either a very short US/NoA tour or one that is split in two and continues after the Aussie dates. Given that, I am wondering if we are going to get a full presentation of a new show, or one just augmented by ACAS themes. Obviously, I expect many of the usual Cooper elements to remain in any show, but I was looking forward to a brand new packaging.

Re: Alice to tour Oz??
I'd suspect the US dates to be split in 2. He only has 2 weeks scheduled right now....with nothing on the coasts, or lots of markets he tends to hit up every time (at least, since i've been watching since 2005). So...I'm sure there are more dates coming there. For Dirty Diamonds, he did a lot of touring in September and October in the States (the 2 months I saw him), so those months are still open.

Re: Alice to tour Oz??
There are some large venues there - hopefully ticket sales will be strong otherwise it could be a rather empty hall lacking atmosphere .
In Sydney past few tours he has played at the Enmore which is about 2ooo seats but a fantastic venue for seeing Alice - this time its at the 12000 seat Entertainment centre .

There's a New Zealand date added to the Tour.
Re: Alice to tour Oz??
does anyone know what the deal is with the palais theatre for the melbourne gig? does the box office open for ticket sales at 8am tomorrow like they have in the past? because from checking their website, they seem to indicate that ticket sales are through ticketmaster only now and that they dont sell them through the theatre anymore. seems strange, anyone know what the deal is?

Re: Alice to tour Oz??
A friend of mine bought tickets for the Melbourne show via ac.com (so he doesn't know yet which seats he got), but I remember him telling me when the show was announced that he was a little put out that tickets for the show were only going to be available via Ticketmaster rather than also have Ticketek (sp?) as an option as well.
This was before it was announced that an ac.com presale was happening, so unless anything has changed, from speaking to him sounds like Ticketmaster or ac.com are the only options for the Palais Theatre Melbourne show.
EDIT: Please feel free to double check what I've said, as to be fair I've not paid a whole lot of attention to the sales procedure for any shows that I'm not going to!

Re: Alice to tour Oz??
Anybody that bought tickets through the AC store received their email with seating details yet? The suspense is killing me...
