Alex?
Did I imagine it, or did that bloke on the 'One show' call Alice, 'Alex', a few times?

What a hopeless Album promo that was. Who is this buffoon Childs fellow. He seems to crop up all over the place on tne Beeb at the moment. What a charmless kninkenpoop.
I asked a colleague at work if she had watched it. She confirmed that she had and thought Alice seemed like a great guy. When I asked if she knew what the new album was called and when it was out she said no. What kind of promo is that !!!!!

A bad one, and also today on Loose Women, not much Alice and they talked about drinking and golf (Again)!!!. Not much mention of ACAS, a brief mention of toights show in London, Southampton was never mentioned.
Anything I say or write is my own personal opinion, no matter who agrees or disagrees with me.

>I know that Andy but if Alice had said something like, "I am playing London tonight and Southampton tomorrow", that would maybe get more reaction.
I don't disagree that it would have been good if Southampton had been mentioned (although, for what it's worth, there didn't seem to be any harm done, as that show looked sold - out), but again, considering the kind of programme "Loose Women" is, you can't expect anything 'in - depth' (and the introduction did say that he was in the UK to play shows).

Good to see a clip of 'Is It My Body' from the Old Grey Whistle Test 1971 on Loose Women though, that doesn't usually get an airing.
Last time I think that was shown as part of an interview over here was on BBC 2 Riverside in 1982!

Lead guitar on Social Debris. Album on iTunes, Amazon & Spotify, title track featured on TV
I thought Alice looked good on 'Loose Women'. Sure, lots of make up to hide his aging neck lines, but that is a good thing as most people aren't going to notice the makeup lines and it did make him look younger. He looked relaxed and well, was humorous, and dressed well. All good.
They did mention the album and the shows even if it was in passing, and they did seem to have done a little research with mentions of the Spiders etc which nowadays seems rare.
