Ok, I've heard from certain people that always get to know about these stuff and Alice is almost assured for Rock in Rio and supposedly in conversatiions for a South American tour (Possibly as part of the Metal Fest)

This going on around the end of September and October...


If anybody knows anything else... some insight maybe.... more rumours.... Would love to read them as here we're all very excited for this!!!

There have been various local articles mentioning Rock In Rio, but as far as I know it hasn`t actually been officially confirmed.

The reporter who first posted this is pretty known for accuracy, and was the first to announce other bands in Rock in Rio that were later confirmed. But, I haven't heard anything beyond that. Hoping for a tour, as it's been 6 years from the last solo tour here. The gap in the already announced dates show possibilities for a tour, so... Let's hope.

Here in Chile the last show was in '95

95? I thought he went to Chile on the 2007 tour! I know he had to cancel the 2011 show, but didn't know it was that long! Well, I just saw on his website that tomorrow new dates are gonna be announced, let's hope for a tour 'round here, and really hope he makes it there! Goos luck for you!

2007 was a tough year, Promoters here said things about "not wanting to mess their business with controversial acts"

Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper were left off from touring plans. Both toured South America without counting Chile

Also The Who failed to come in those years, and Motley the next year

Rumors are starting to show up saying he's making a little tour in Brazil... I guess a South America tour is more possible now... Set 21 in Rock in Rio, then 22 in São Paulo and 24 in Curitiba... Maybe Chile will come before or after these dates...

Alice was just confirmed for Rock in Rio. He's playing on set. 21st., with Arthur Brown.

Just confirmed São Paulo on 26th and Curitiba 23rd. Hope there's more shows on South America!

Are there at least rumors of him going there? I'm kinda disappointed there's no VIPs in Brazil, at least nothing is listed on his site for now... was really looking forward for it, I decided to make a Tattoo of his signature if he came here...

It's often hard for them to do VIPs at festival shows which these seem to be.

Good news there's a chance for you! I've heard of a few bands that are comming to Rock In Rio playing other places in South America, including Chile, if that's a festival, better chances rummors being true.

As for the VIPs, in Curitiba he's playing solo, Live Curitiba is the Venue. His site is linking to a website that doesn't sell tickets for that venue, but the same one that is selling the São Paulo Trip ones, so my only hope is this a mistake and later they'll list VIPs package for that show.
