I never thought the trilogy would be included. I can definitely see Freedom as that was the biggest song from that album, and arguably the heaviest

Is that a complete set? Seems quite short compared to last year.

Great to see the covers section gone, FINALLY.

Biggest surprise is PAIN for sure.

I would say Escape is a much bigger surprise than Pain, but both are welcome, no covers is the biggest pleaser

I heard him do Escape in 2001 (I don't believe it was in the set list for long) and it sounded great. Glad to see it back.

Yep, just looked. It was dropped after 6 shows into the Dragontown tour

Wonder why elected is still being done? The election is done...usually doesn't do it when it's not election year

Wow, not a bad setlist. I thought Brutal Planet would be a good opener again as it was on that tour.

Looks like he's wearing a shirt that reads: don't blame me, I voted for Alice.

The show seems to be quite the same as of last year.

THe introduction is a mixture of what was happening last year with Black Widow (cape and all) and Spoken intro a la Brutally Alive, pretty cool

There is a video from Pain in the Alice Cooper Army group in Facebook:

It's pretty cool :alice:

Long way to go got cut last night. Kyler told me night 1 they were over by 8 minutes and he indicated a song might get cut.

He also told me that with the covers gone, Alice has 3 songs to play around with and that they band learned 7-8 songs that were not on last years set. So no guarantee, but there is the possibility of some variation every few shows.

I'll be seeing the Coop tonight and will be happy to report back!

I'm curious how well Pain goes over. Was great to see a video of it and I won't make a judgement based on the one row of people you can see but I can see it being a dud for anyone but us pretty much.

I agree with Feezle-Nuts that Pain could definitely be a dud crowd wise, but I hope it stays in the set, because I love that song! I am also happy about the addition of Escape! I can't see Brutal Planet going over well as an opener for the majority of people. The World Needs Guts and Woman Of Mass Distraction were not in the set for the first leg of Spend The Night With Alice that I saw, and I really hate seeing them taking up space in the show when Is It My Body, Public Animal, and now Long Way To Go have been scrapped. I have heard less excitement from a few of my friends about the show now that they have seen the setlist, and some people who were on the fence waiting to make a last minute decision have decided not to go. I hope that the crowd is good though, because it is Alice's first show in Birmingham since 2007.
