Re: O2 pre sale
I asked the festival organisers on Facebook and they said the M&G will start at 3:30 after the interview. But I guess we'll see how it all works out on Saturday.

Someone else on this site has been told there is no M&G and offered a refund... by the promotors...Daveyy wrote:I asked the festival organisers on Facebook and they said the M&G will start at 3:30 after the interview. But I guess we'll see how it all works out on Saturday.

Hmm. I've just messaged them. Everything seems a bit mixed up about this festival haha!

Re: O2 pre sale
Just had this reply from the Stone Free organisers.
"Hi David, unfortunately there has been a change to the plans for the interaction with Alice Cooper for the VIP tickets. Alice advised us that he would like to take part in an intimate interview rather than a traditional meet and greet and we were very pleased to have been able to find an interviewer who is genuinely engaging and intelligent in David Quantick (writer of In The Thick Of It, Veep amongst many others).
The interview remains a very exclusive event with only 100 tickets sold. Plus the goody bag you will receive on check in includes a pair of Marshall headphones worth over £60, amongst other items. That along with the location of the seats and the private bar access now make up the elements of the package."
I then asked if the opportunity to just even snap a photo with Coop was possible and got this reply
"Hi David, this is up to Alice and his team on the day of the show."

Re: O2 pre sale
I have asked for a refund. I paid for a meet and greet and now they cannot tell me if it will happen or not. I am not paying £140+ for the "chance" of meeting him. How can they sell something that isn't happening. Shocking.

Re: O2 pre sale
I'm quite interested in seeing how this interview session is gonna work out. Either way I'll get to see Alice so I'm not too fussed. I'm sure there will be a photo op at some point with him.

I've no idea if this is related but I did find the ViP ticket prices almost too good to be true (they're usually double that). I'll be interested to hear how the experience compared to a usual solo show.

I'm pretty sure the VIP thing for this one show is nothing to do with Alice and co.wind_up_toy wrote:I've no idea if this is related but I did find the ViP ticket prices almost too good to be true (they're usually double that). Re: O2 pre sale
Yup, which possibly explains why the pricing point was so different.

Wow.....was the organization of this "festival" as bad as Twitter has made it sound? Yikes!
Schooooooooooooool's Ouuuuuuuuuuuuut. FOR. EVER!
Re: O2 pre sale
I have heard some horror stories from a friend. What upsets me the most out of all this is the email saying that Alice changed the plans.

Re: O2 pre sale
what a load of absolute crap. barring sickness/show cancellation etc there should be no way a place can advertise something then just change it on a whim. i don't care how they pretty it up sayign there's headphones - so what, if i want headphones i can go to the high street, if i want to meet Alice, i can't.
