any rumblings?
I should know better, but an aquantence says that alice plans on calling it a touring career after the crue tour..does anyone have a concrete statement indicating so? I told her the "mick jagger rule" and also I do believe alice has stated he would never pull a farewell tour on the public, but rather just stop....he is 65,so I wouldn't be so cocky as to rule him out of hanging the snake and cane up..hope it never happens though.

Someone has probably seen it's a "farewell tour" and jumped to the conclusion it's Alice's farewell as well.
For a start there is already the cruise thing booked for next year.

Alice said in an interview he did, promoting the new tour that he would never retire. I don't have the link, but it was the one he did with Tommy Lee.

Anything I say or write is my own personal opinion, no matter who agrees or disagrees with me.

Re: any rumblings?
Alice has made no indication that he would stop touring at any point. The cure tour is a final tour for THEM, not for Alice. I can't see Alice retiring. He is very much a creature of habit, and touring is what he does. As long as he is able to get out on stage and as long as there are people there to see him, I doubt he will retire. Not sure who you're hearing this from but they clearly aren't a source who has any information aside from blind speculation.

Re: any rumblings?
Reckon Alice has stayed true to his intentions stated on Strange Case Video..think back Alice fans, way back-anyway think he said something along lines that he would keep dishing it out as long as the audience could take it- sorry not exact quote-my VHS copy(used to be worth money) in garage with player- so reckon as long as he is healthy he will still be touring when Motley Two return to the road

I get the feeling I'll be retiring before Alice...
And I'm 30 years his junior!

Re: any rumblings?
I think he'll tour as long as possible. Seems to be the type who has to always be active. He does more at 66 then many in there 20's do.
