I really hope this tour comes to the UK because I would pay ANYTHING to see this. I was actually a fan of Manson before I got into Alice.
If I get to see my two all time idols perform together I will die a happy man.

It's good to see the idea is popular with some people. I'm pleased for you. But in your enthusiasm please understand that for many others this isn`t the greatest news in the world for all sorts of reasons!!!
I have nothing particularly against Manson or his music (I hve the albums etc). It's the mix of fans that worries me. As with Motorhead a few years ago different sorts of audience expecting to do different things at the show can cause issues in the crowd and seriously spoil it.

what issues were there w/ Motorhead? i didn't bother turning up for their set, apart from comments about them being stupidly loud i can't recall anything.
i've seen Manson several times, i honestly can't see any crowd issues arising : other than people taking young kids to see Alice and being somewhat unsettled at the attire of some of Manson's gilrie fans. something i've not had issue w/ myself. ;-)

Motorhead audience was pretty wild, I remember getting very squashed. The noise issue is easily overcome but the pinned against a metal barrier by a group of large, sweaty men was a different matter. Maybe now a Manson crowd isn't so wild due to rise of smartphone picture / video recording.

edit: that salt lake city show was posted up on news page yesterday, but perhaps now it's just been updated to include Manson as well?

Manson audience are pretty clamed, Cannot compare with the Wilbeast Of Motohead, they're so different, The Wilder you'll get In MM Shows are the freakys who loves(literally) him, he's another guy tight now, He's so damn calmed and he'll do ANYTHING to impress Alice, Believe me, in Chile he was soooo controlled and professional to Impress KISS

I saw Manson a couple of years ago. The crowd, at least in my experience, wasn't anything like in the "Guns, Gods and Government" DVD where people were practically performing sex acts to each other in the audience. Manson doesn't really attract the same crowd that he did 10 years ago.

Well this is the first pairing for Alice that I am not excited about at all...I can't stand Manson...other than a couple of songs...his onstage antics and his overall demeanor just rubs me the wrong way...if any dates come near, I will go for the Alice portion assuming he is first and leave after that.

I had exactly the same reaction as Si, mixed emotions and not very happy. Nothing against MM and I like what I know of his music. But I am not so happy with two big acts sharing a bill. Harder to get tickets also.

And I'd be a little worried too about the crowd. I was kind of glad that the Rob Zombie tour was only in the US. Even though I'd love to see his show once, from a distance lol! But I am not seeing Alice from a distance, see the problem?

Marilyn Manson was the first band to get me into heavier music. Before that I thought Green Day were really heavy lol.
Of course, Alice is my all time favorite, but I'll always have a soft spot for Manson for getting me into the hard rock/metal genre. His most recent album was so much better than his past few albums.

When I saw him a couple of years ago, honestly, he didn't really do anything "controversial." To be perfectly honest it was almost the complete opposite of what I was thinking it would be (keep in mind I went along with a friend and Slayer was on the bill, which is why we went.") He went through the songs, and then the very last song he jumped over some amps and disappeared and that was it. Very anti-climatic to be honest. So honestly it may not hurt to see a couple of songs just so you can say you saw it, the onstage antics didn't seem to be what they used to be.

Someone on Blabbermouth said they saw this show listed somewhere. So, definitely nowhere near official, but one to keep an eye out for.

I've seen Manson live many times, I don't think there will be a problem at all with fans.

tour is 10 years too late really, I used to LOVE marilyn manson now im completely sad to see what he has become, just check out any clips from his 2012 shows, his voice is shot, he cant make it through a set without puffing for air, he is almost a train wreck these days and like I say thats coming from a huge fan of his work. Alice will blow him off the stage.

And I dont think there are too many manson fans that love the coop also, so I can see both sets of fans not giving a stuff on the other. except for the odd minority.
