>As for the daylight thing, I just assumed he would be playing in daylight during the outdoor shows.

You are correct - he may well do that but my point was that Manson will as well, yet you didn't seem too concerned about that and you did say you liked Manson as well. My other point was that this kind of speculation seems to happen every time a tour is announed. Already there have been three pages of discussion about something that no - one knows anything about and that has yet to happen.

>Maybe Alice should play Prince Of Darkness while the bubbles are being used lol

In case anyone is not aware of this, this effect was used on the "Killer" and "School's Out" tours.

I like a lot of the early Manson stuff, but he seems to have lost his mojo a bit,. maybe Alice will help him to get it back.
Fan mixing wise i don't think they'll be a problem, as MM fans aren't your typical metal crowd, and there is some cross over.

For non fans i recommend MM's album Mechanical Animals as his best, and most accessible piece of work. It is almost a Bowie pastiche, but there are some great songs on there, and a couple of the off kilter guitar solos Glen Buxtonesque :)( John 5 was the guitarist i think)

Manson Guitarist John 5 wAs A Big Fan Of Cooper Along with Manson...I Recommend Holy Wood as his best Album,, Really good work! PS:I Think the mixer or productor of someone of Along Came A Spider work in a few album of MM.

PS of PS IMO Putting Holes IN Happiness of MM the main Riff sounds like Devil's Food !

Hasn't Cold Machines been compared by some to a MM song called Beautiful People?

The riff is very similar.

yesterday AC.com posted an update saying the tour will run throughout the most of June with dates in the US and Canada: http://alicecooper.com/latest/news/alic ... nced-43997 . No mention of UK dates unfortunately so I wonder if I'm silly enough to spend alot of money to travel to the states for a long weekend...

That might be for that show only as there is no mention of them on other dates.

I really HATE Gwar.
It's a shame that there are no UK dates as I'd love to see my two favourite singers together.

If it comes to Toronto it will probably come to The Molson Canadian Ampitheatre like the Zombie/Cooper show. But it would be really cool if they had it at Ricoh Coliseum at the CNE!!

I have nothing particularly against Manson or his music (I hve the albums etc). It's the mix of fans that worries me. As with Motorhead a few years ago different sorts of audience expecting to do different things at the show can cause issues in the crowd and seriously spoil it.
Yes issues with mix of fanbase are valid also I am not very big on Manson either

seems a lot of this thread has turned into an "i hate this idea cos i hate Manson" riff. well, so what? Don't go in to watch his act. and if Alice is on first, you get to leave early and miss the carpark crush.
i can count on one hand the number of support acts i've sat through, never once has it affected my judgement of whether i should go to the concert for the main act. dunno why everyone's getting so het up about it.
be a dream come true if there was a Manson/Coop double bill over here, 'specially on Hallowe'en. stuff GWAR though, let's get Rammstein on the bill too :-)

A few other bands who would fit well onto the bill (in my opinion ofcourse)....

Zimmers Hole
Gary Numan
King Diamond
Rammstein
Lordi
Murderdolls
Ministry
Killing Joke
