Cardiff show

Post by Seriously » Thu Oct 25, 2012 7:35 am

Really enjoyed Loaded & Ugly Kid Joe, pleasant surprise there, Alice's set great as usual, although not too keen on covers, never have.

But what did spoil it a bit was the seating arrangements and over zealous security folk trying to keep people in line, if it's seated next time around at Cardiff I'll give it a miss. ::((:

Yeah it's seated at the gig I'm going to as well.

I'm really pumped for this show. I still can't believe that He's Back is in the setlist now.

Do you remember what songs Ugly Kid Joe played? I've been a fan of theirs for years, so it's cool that I get to see them the same night I see Alice.

They were quite annoying at times, but, as I was lucky enough to have a front row seat, I was glad they kept sending other people back. But they stopped me taking photos, and wouldn't let us stand at the barrier......at first anyway, but we kept inching forward, got there in the end    Great show, glad he dropped I Can see for Miles, here's hoping Back Door Man goes next in favour of I AM MADE OF YOU/STEPHEN!!!!

Just got back from Cardiff and have to say how relieved iam that the covers did not spoil the show.I had put my two penith in here earlier saying i wasnt keen on the artists he was covering never mind the songs but i enjoyed "my generation" and the guitar work on "foxy lady" from our own foxy lady was great.Of course a superb version of "hes back"helped things a great deal.I was dead centre 2nd row from the front so had a great view.Think i was behind Si(red patriots top)and mr bill crowe, sorry i didnt say hi but a bit shy (strange for a geordie i know)Wouldnt say this was the best alice concert i've been to (33 and counting)but did enjoy it and judging by the first 3 rows, they were all into the covers section. So if for some MAD reason youve decided to give this tour a miss please have a rethink.Whish i was going to more but this one alone cost me over £100.Alice still rocks ,make no mistake

It was all seated at Bournemouth last night, but I didn't see anyone sitting down once Alice came on stage lol.
