>but 8 (EIGHT) cover tracks
As usual, people are getting the wrong impression based on something they have read. All I can say is, I doubt it will be exactly as has been reported.

Re: Alice Cooper article (very mild spoiler about the tour)
Everyone is really negging out about this 8 covers. The fact that this is the 'raise the dead' section suggests that it could be very theatrically done but none of us will know until we see it. Personally I am very happy that he is shaking things up as it's long overdue. Alice is a rocker and is obviously enjoying delving into his own record collection. I like the idea that the show will be in three acts, the last thing I remember being along the same lines was the Trash tour where the first half was trash and then the stage changed round for the greatest hits section. Less than 3 weeks to go and my excitement is growing.

Exactly. It happens with every tour. Alice makes a statement in the media and everyone starts speculating about it. What most people don't realise is that a lot of these interviews are done some considerable time before the event they are meant to publicise and in the time between the interviews taking place and actually appearing, things can change.

Well, the "Theater Of Death" tour had four of those.

I'm really excited about this tour. The way I see it is that, even if there is 8 covers in the set, the vast majority of the set will be Alice songs. We're also getting a Nightmare section which a lot of people have been asking for. I'm just very thankful that Alice is still touring and going out every year with a new show and new ideas to please us, his fans. Also, this is Alice Cooper we're going to see here. I'm sure he could make One Direction songs sound good hehe

I have been quite disappointed by the idea of the covers section, but like The Spider said, we still get a Nightmare section and hopefully we might even get a couple of songs he hasn't played in awhile.
We'll all find out in a couple of days.

Sorry for the double post but isn't it the first night of the tour tonight? The 19th?
