Go to the front page and click on the "Pop, Rock..." Tab above the video player. That'll take you to a page from which the Alice concert should play. It did for me in the U.S.

Hey it's working for me too now! Too bad I have to go to work. I'll see if it still works tonight. Guess you need to be patient and try again.

Well, that depends on many factors, But AVO sessions have sometimes made dvd's (http://www.avo.ch/en/merchandising) so you never know.

I'm only speculating, but I think it's partly due to time. And partly because the festival has their rules. They never allowed any of the artists I saw there to use their own light show, which is often really disappointing. And the banners in the back would have been impossible to put as the festival would want their sponsor's name on the screen all the time.

Since Alice was using his own backdrop throughout most of the show (you can see that clearly on the video) I would guess that the shortened set was due to time limitations.

Probably they start at 8 pm every night and with only one support band and a headliner that's fine, but with two headline acts as on Sunday both would have to shorten their sets...

Well, with the whole show being streamed, there could also be an rights issue with streaming the cover songs. Since the show ended at 23:10, I don't think 10 more minutes would have been an issue (and if time constraint is the reason, then it was poor planning. They just should have started 15 mins early).

Either way, it sucked that the show was shortened. Especially considering the ticket prices.

Ah yes good point Patrick.

Well given the amazing experience we had I don't complain about the price, it was only a fraction more than the prices we paid in the UK. And worth every centime/Rappen.
Sure would have been great if we could have moved closer from the beginning but photographers have to make a living and the photos on the website are some of the best I've seen, crisp and vibrant, incredible.

Awesome show!!!! How can you NOT respect Alice for still having that kind of energy. Some nice surprises in the set list too. Can't wait till he hits Michigan.

I just remembered that local TV was there, they interviewed some of us. Thankfully they didn't use the footage where I say stupid things to their journalist :)

http://www.telebasel.ch/de/tv-archiv/&i ... to=&group=

It's about 9:30 into he clip. In Swissgerman, sorry. Around the end you have parts of "Poison".

I wonder why they didn't ask what we thought about the mix of styles, that would have been interesting. Instead they asked the usual, "are you a fan?", "what's your favourite song?" :/ and "What would your reaction be if he brought the snake" You can imagine what I said :8):

Yes. Of course. The experience standing right at the stage without a barrier was amazing and definitely worth going (at one point I was considering not going to Basel at all, as I hate seated concerts), but I really, really do hate to miss out on songs and as for ticket prices, I paid 54 sfr for Edinburgh (where I also was in the front) and 120 sfr for Basel.

Swiss Television SRF2 is finally airing Alice' show on thursday night 25th (which would actually make it the 26th) at 02:55.

Ah you were quicker, I was coming to say the same :)

They're actually getting faster, usually the shows air almost a year later.

I don't have a TV!

I don't have a TV either. However, I could have solved that problem. But the programme is not available outside Switzerland unless you have a special decoder card (which is only available if you're Swiss and pay their fees) ::((: So I guess I'll have to wait till it finally airs on 3sat (if it ever does)...

Yes I realised this. That broadcast should also be available where I live, so I'll try to catch it. Anyway, thanks for posting!
