Great to see you again Sick Rick. Always love your incredible photos.

Here are a few of my photos from Coop’s Knoxville show. With all due respect to Damon and Keri who I love, this is the tightest and hottest band Coop has had in a long, long time. They are totally in sync, alive, and killing the audience just as Alice promised. All four guitarists are sharing the spotlight equally and appear to be having a great time together. Ori has gained a lot of confidence in her stage presence since the last tour and her playing and solos are outstanding. Even though I do not have the best quality camera I tried to capture the front row experience early in the tour the best I could so you all know what is coming your way.
I bumped into Ryan and Tommy before the show and both seemed a bit surprised they were recognized. I welcomed Ryan back who was very humble and seemed very appreciative that he was remembered. Slipping into fan boy mode I said “Dude, we love you man!” as I shook his hand and had a nice conversation with he and Tommy. You couldn’t ask for two nicer rock stars. By the way, they are very well trained, if you want something signed you better have paid for it. They weren’t signing pieces of paper or albums they had nothing to do with, but a tour bear or other official merchandise – no problem. I tried to find about the fall tour but they did not have details, but evidently playing both Nightmare albums in their entirety is still a possibility.
For the record, Caffeine was incredible and the highlight of the show in my humble opinion. I would love to hear the entire album (CD) start to finish and am really looking forward to the next tour.
Post show we caught up with Ori and Glen, both of whom were very gracious and accommodating. Poor Ori does attract a crowd. Sorry Glen, she is a bit more attractive, but no more talented. Of course there is no one more gracious and accommodating than Alice, and though tired and ready to hit the road he did take the time to sign Wendy’s “bobblehead”. I do think he has a certain fascination with those bobbleheads and recognizes the hardcore fans seem to have gotten possession of many of them. How many rock stars would do this? Coop is in a class by himself.
It was quite an evening. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Very nice. Always fun to watch the same show from a different perspective. You got a lot of good photos of Peyton's Big Orange jersey, LOL!
I wore my Coop Halloween orange t-shirt as it is always in fashion in East Tennessee, football season or not!
Thanks for sharing your shots!!!

If you are friends with me on Facebook, I have my pictures up. I *thought* the "public" option would allow non-FB users/friends to see my pics, but the friend that I had test the link said it did not. Not sure if I'll get them up anywhere else or not...

So far as FB is concerned I've found that the second you tag someone in a pic, their friends can then see it, regardless of your own settings for pics. My settings are "friends" but I've had 'likes' and comments from people who are mutual friends of those I've tagged.

Here's a link to some pics I made at the same show. It was cool to meet up with Si and Jenni and some of the other sickthings. Also very cool to meet Ryan and Tommy.
It's best to veiw the slideshow in reverse order.

I sure was dissappointed that ya'll didn't have the time to come by and stay with us at least one night. I was hoping to cook ya'll some ribs and take you for a ride on the bike. Maybe next time.sparkinthedark wrote:MrD Returns wrote:Here's a link to some pics I made at the same show. It was cool to meet up with Si and Jenni and some of the other sickthings.
